Nice 2-man dual guitar attack in E-flat tuning. Sad that Phil had to go the way of a drug overdose like so many rock n' roll greats have.

I hate that they cut out the first guitar solo. Wow that saved SOOOooo much time. One of the best parts of the song. Love this cinematography though, the lighting is so cool and everything is so analog.

The production is crap. They go through all this trouble and it's like no one is engineering the camera shots. Robo starts his solo and then the camera swings over to find him because they don't know who's actually playing? Plus they miss Brian Downey completely on his solo brakes? Step into my office son... You are correct on both counts. Robbo is "Rocky", and Phil is "Johnny". Don't listen to that other guy. He's dead wrong about the Rocky Athas bullshit. Robbo said in a biography of Phil that was published in 1994 that Phil wrote Rocky about him. Robbo was brash, cocky, and a carouser. He was fearless, and he took to rock stardom like it was nothing. The more famous Lizzy became the more arrogant and cool Robbo became. Robbo is God.

Also if you think Rocky is not a great guitar player you are lost in a world of deafness. You Johnny are the real idiot. Mr. Athas is a world class musician & a very humble guy & he has been around as long as anyone in Thin Lizzy perhaps even longer. I have no doubt the guitarists in Thin Lizzy including the great late Gary Moore would tell you your full of it. when it comes to great guitar playing that Rocky is one of the best in the biz..

yup, knew it when it came out..saw R.A./Lightning at Ma Blues a couple times back in the day. he was doing all those Billy Gibbons tap moves and had that flashy toothed smile Phil references...the chicks really did do a double-take when he pulled out the moves..he was/is always smiling while he plays - a great player, i still jam on Home Again (local hit in Dallas) for kicks.

I have always said that this album was just as good as "Jailbreak" if not better...
