i love TMBG so much!! Most of their songs are short, but they go on so much longer than so many long shitty songs.
They pack so much in I think. i used to play them on repeat while experimenting with drugs

When Flansy writes non-album songs he's a god-dammed pop genius.

This is on Long Tall Weekend and was written for John Henry

To be fair though it was a non album song for 5 or 6 years

How is this one of their lesser known songs? Its really good...

I've been a big fan for quite some time as well, I never heard the 1st on your list. Pretty familiar with the others though. Last years Dial A Song was so awesome, I personally fell head over heels over "Apophenia" and "End Of The Rope"~
I just listened to "Canajoharie", cant say it's made my top's. Not sure what it is thats turning me away from it.
Evil Twin is certainly a favorite though!

@Corey Messick I avoided Why for my own reasons, but Im glad I took a chance with this song, maybe I should listen to the whole album xD
Are the rest like this? Or is this one different and thats why you use the term "breath of fresh air"?

Saw them play this live at Toad's Place in '93! I already knew the song, thanks to the Hello Recording Club CD.

MacStar Laitselec TMB-P Where did my comments go out to lunch? 😟

lol i just realized they released a bunch of songs that sound like they should be on some old vinyl, only its only available digitally. like all of the songs are throwbacks to fifties to early eighties songs.
