How much of this is just video editing and how much is lots and lots of stitching.

I’m gonna assume they animated each individual frame, but used editing to make it move across the screen to prevent having to constantly restitch everything. They also probably used a flip tool at some points. Still a crazy lot of embroidery though!

it does say hand-embroidered at the end, so I'm going to assume that every frame was done by hand, though it seems a bit intensive and time taking to be fully done by hand.

Also, now I want a video game where TMBG fights monsters.

The game _really_ picks up when They hop into their mechs, Flansbot and Linnelldroid.
