It took me a while, but now I really like this version too.

either version makes for a fine song.. but this "Phone Power"/Dial -a-Song alt version is simply bad ass.. Flans, at least to me, turned a take it or leave it average song and revamped it into a track so excellent that I look forward to hearing as i let phone power play start to finish.. well done Flans! as ever!

I've always really liked the nanobots album, and I even like the original slower version of this song, but it really clicks when they speed it up.

I think I prefer the eerie atmosphere of the original, honestly.

This would mash-up delightfully with their Bills, Bills, Bills cover.

Starry Eyed is available on a covers compilation, and No Cops + I Was Dancing In The Lesbian Bar are only available for digital purchase on Amazon and the like. The band has yet to mention what they plan on doing with the remaining songs, although I vaguely remember it being implied on their Tumblr that they might do an EP of the rest.

Aw, man! I remember being at the Stone Pony show where they first debuted this version live! Remains still one of my favorite ever concerts. I need to get to see them live again soon.
