Love the new album!  Not a sell out on this at all. I have been THE original fan from the beginning!  Excellent song.  I have met Jeff back in the day a couple of times.  Had a couple of drinks with him back in the 90's. Great to see yall again!

Wow. You guys knocked it out of the park with this one! It reminds me of something that John Lennon would have written and mixed by Jeff Lynn of ELO. It has a current sound yet brings us back to our teens back in the 80's. I think is gonna end up being my fav off this album in years to come.

One of the only hair bands that can write songs that still are great and they dont have rely on their tunes from 30 years ago. Most hait bands can't say that!

Well, just finished listening to new album ... this is my favorite track. California Summer Song probably sits at #2. The rest just kinda filter in after that together. Definitely can tell the Phil Collen influence here, but in all the interviews and reviews I've read - the band makes no pretense in hiding it. Collen co-wrote numerous tracks and everyone involved with this project is happy with the end result. The band is happy that they even got an album done, they probably wouldn't have made a new album if it weren't for Collen. So kudos!

I personally felt that "Shock" was better than "Simplicity" and if this turns out to be their final studio release, it's a decent one to hang their hat up on. It has a nice, easy flow to it - good tunes, good vocals. Yes, the vintage years are gone ... few bands can still carry that flag around today like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and the Todd La Torre-led Queensryche (who's latest release, "The Verdict", is phenomenal) and still sound as good and as vital as they did back then. Tesla seems to have lost that creative edge, but I still enjoyed this album.

This one has the feel that the more I listen to it, the more I will probably like it. "Simplicity" wasn't like that for me. So, great job, Tesla - thanks for the new album!

Wow..so profound you silly goose...i would give one thumb up Phil Collens ass for producing this... tired cliche Def Leppard ballad style writing makes me exhausted and I actually like simplicity that's not. At least I felt it was coming from a genuine place and the hooks on that album are far better than this layered overproduced snoozefest

Well thankfully we aren’t all the same. I’m always pumped for new material, especially if it’s from one of my favorite bands. If I only enjoy a few songs that usually is not an indicator that the album sucks.

Tesla has always been at their best when playing ballads, e.g., "call it what you want." This album expands on that reality.

Might be the best song on the album. On an album filled with sappy ballads. No real heavy rockers. Nothing great here.

This is a good song but I think the best song on the album is Love Is A Fire. They do have a few harder songs on this album like You Won’t Take Me Alive, Shock, The Mission, Tied To The Tracks, and Comfort Zone. They might not be as hard of some of their songs from their first five albums, but they also don’t have Tommy Skeoch anymore. Their style changed a little bit when he left and Dave Rude came aboard although Forever More has some good hard songs on it.
