I let temptations seep into my life including impurity so this song hits home. Over this past summer I finally admitted it to my youth group and I've realize being transparent with my church family helps.

I needed this song today. These are truly the words of my heart as I go through a time of intense testing.

If you're reading this after you've fallen into your sin once again, I pray that you take these words and know that God is still faithful to us even when we've screwed up beyond recognition. Rejoice in the truth that it's not what you've do that has saved you from the inevitable hell we all deserve but faith love and trust in what Christ has already done for you. This sin you dwell in did not take him by surprise, and out of his love for you he sent Christ to die for you so that you might live with him eternally. So I pray that you take heart and delight in the lord for what he's done for you and turn to sin no more knowing that when we fall short that he's already caught you. His teaching on "spirit soul and body" is REALLY good if you really study it and put in the effort to get the revelation. Another teacher that has helped me is Dan Mohler. Today I got so angry with God at a very small thing. I realized what I did, I felt so disappointed with myself, I felt stupid. I hated myself for saying bad things to God. I am hoping He will still hear me and forgive me. I regret what I said and I just hope the Lord is not angry with me because I felt like He is angry with me. I have literally been in your situation not a week ago. this pain lasted from August 1st until late December, some of the worst pain I'd ever felt is the belief that God had left me. He HASN'T. I tell you this as a believer, as one who has gone through this pain with heart wrenching tears and emotional agony that almost killed me. it was the worst trial I'd ever gone through so far, believing that I'd lost God. I questioned myself, my stance as a Christian, even the Good Lord Almighty.

underline that "How have I burdened you ", because that's EXACTLY what He told me, word for word. I had begun to hold offense to God, thinking He'd left me. I felt I had a huge burden that was Crushing me. Little did I know, that in that very question He asked me He wasn't looking for an answer from me, He was looking for recognition . When He asked me this, u realized who I questioned. I was questioning the God of the universe who made heaven, earth, everything in it under it and above it, who knew the number of the stars and ALL of their names. He knew all of the sands in the sea and the drops in the ocean. Even every hair on our head. He knows us better than we could ever hope to know ourselves, because HE made us. He is in full control, whether we feel it or not. If He brought you this far, I can tell you from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, He WILL, I cannot emphasize that any more, bring you FARTHER! He is the "Author and the Finisher of our faith" Hebrews 12:2. "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6

I think this is sort of odd to say.  There isn't even any other Savior.  Jesus is the only One.  

I take it as other saviors, I tried to save myself from myself and the world through self harm, false idols etc. These "saviors" did save me at all, they were not kind or offered redemption. Only through my Savior, and the Father and I saved!❤️🙏🙏🙏

But here I am today - after much struggle - free from the sexual sin that I thought I would never overcome. Praise Jesus for His Amazing Grace.

Never give-in to defeat. Even if you feel like you'll never break free from the thing that haunts you every night, never stop running to Jesus. He listens. He forgives, every time. As long as there is the Desire in you to leave your immorality, Jesus is on the job.

Hi my name is Anna I am 19. I have never done drugs, self harmed, or been abused, I have a family and a few friends that love me and care for me very much. But I feel lonely. I struggle with an addiction similar to one I had in the past. I just started college but stay at home instead of in a dorm. I am struggling with school because I lack the motivation and self confidence. I was homeschooled for 8 years so that caused me to do less work and develop more social anxieties. Whenever I am in public I often break down. I have never had a job, I only have my drivers permit. I'm afraid of what the future holds. I know there is a bunch of people who have it a lot worse but will someone pray for me? Also for my friend Arianna, She has bulimia and many other stress caused problems. She at college living in a dorm for her 2nd year. The first one was really rough on her and caused her to overdose on sleeping pills a few times and ended up in the hospital twice. I am afraid she is going to have the same results this year. She struggles with addictions, a new one recently came in, the devil speaks to her and tries to get her to do things. I am scared for her. Will someone also pray for her?

I will pray for you; tonight and your lost friend...You can find your strength through God; but he can show it in your life by working through you. This may be a challenge for you to help your friend, but, in doing so don't let her behaviors compromise your favor in God's eyes. What I mean is people are lost and until they know God personally they can not understand the relationship that exists between those who are saved by the life giving blood of Christ. You in your caring may be too close to those who would squander his love. Your room mate has many issues probably many you may not know about...just show her your strength and when the moments are right God will give you the words that will fit perfectly in the conversations you will have. That's the way it works; trust in him and keep the faith....you will see it always works out in the end...even if tears are had...he will help you to heal. God Bless!!!

I'm 16 and I recognize that I've been sinning. Feeling disgusted with myself, I cannot look at him in the eyes.

Christ can help you son. You may have realized that you are a hell deserving sinner but i feel i am worse. but there is hope. though we all are hell deserving sinners God does not want us to go to hell. That is not His will. But there is hope. The word became flesh which was God and He sent Jesus into the world and lived a perfect and sinless life yet we rejected Him, hated Him, did not love Him. We crucified Him. On that cross he bore our sins, He took the death we did not deserve. Justice was satisfied because of His death. He bore all our sins on the cross. all our sins nailed to Him. So He died and He took our sins with Him. He rose again and defeated death. He lived the perfect life. He died a sinless death. He is the lamb that satisfied justice demand for us because we have broken God's law and His Commandments and there is everlasting life, with faith we must come to Jesus realizing our need of Him and repent of our sins tell God we are sorry and ask for forgiveness and He will grant you everlasting life. You will feel new again and He will give you a new heart that wants to serve Him, when you are saved so much will be opened to you, so read your bible and obey what Christ has commanded and love God and Love people. Well when you are saved you may still sin as the rest of us but it wont be a free fall to sin, it will be a more clearer view of serving Him and we are flesh, we will never be perfect. I still fall all the time yet we must repent daily as christians because we need that closeness with Him. He will be a dear friend to you. if you have any questions or thing you have problems with let me know. i wont judge. i have been an unbelieve yet now i believe and i understand sin constantly and the struggles

This song is for those who received Jesus Christ as their Saviour but they start to live worldy like it is said in the lyrics: "For living like I`m not Yours". This part of the lyrics makes it clear that  the song is about those who are already saved and it also makes it clear that after you are saved, if you fall, you have to repent, to bring your sin before God but that does not mean that you are saved again everytime you repent, your Salvation is unique, it happens once and it is a gift from God, it`s not by works (Read Ephesians 2:8).

The song also fits so well with our times, with the great weakness of nowadays christians and we see that still, God is faithful, even if it would be nothing wrong in Him throwing us in hell, because we would fully deserve it, He is still showing His grace and mercy, His patience is so much more that we will ever be able to imagine...

@primrose Yes, it is true... If we really are saved, He will never leave us. After sinning, a true christian will feel pain in his soul, will feel a deep shame and will realise how small and unworthy of God`s love he is. Let`s pray for wisdom because we are living in these times when people are getting so far from God, even so called churches and preachers.. We are in the last days! God bless you!

salvation is a process. its not once saved always saved. that means i can continue and living a life of sin and still enter.....WRONG. Jesus will say to those who work inequity "depart from me, I never knew you". we need to repent.

There are so many opinions about this, can't we just enjoy the song? I believe god touches us each individually in our own way, and each and every relationship with "him"(because who says that god has a gender anyway?) but anyways I just feel like we are getting away from the point here. From everything I've heard it's always sounded like "god" has serious anger management issues and maybe even bipolar disorder. I don't mean to be disrespectful but I quit going to church because there are so many different ideas, and people just seem to pick out the parts that agree with their own arguments and deny the ones that don't, without taking everything into account. I mean, when you accept a religion, are... are we clear on what we just accepted? Do... do we get, everything this all entails here? You can argue scripture until you are blue in the face, but at the end of it, why bother? People really seem to complicate things and I feel like it's not just as simplistic as heaven vs hell and some guy named god, sitting on a throne in a mansion made of clouds looking down on everybody pulling the strings. And then you know, the whole lucifer getting his ass kicked by a teenage mutant ninja angel thing. I think it's so much more complicated than that. I don't know. I'm just going to live the best, most kind and compassionate and loving and honest life I can and hopefully if I respect and love all creation and try my hardest to not "sin" then... hopefully that will be enough for "god". We were born imperfect. Life is imperfect by design so to expect perfection is un realistic. I think, but again that's just my opinion. I mean no no disrespect to anyone. Now let's just enjoy the song.
