one of my favorite songs by Tenth Avenue North. I am bisexual and Christian and have gotten hate a lot for it and didn't feel loved at my church still kind of don't. I am considering leaving my denomination as it's conservative and against LGBTQ people and marriage equality. I know God loves all his children even LGBTQ. I am his child and beloved.

This song is so powerfully about Pentecost, a binding of the Song of Songs, Psalms 139, 19 and 45, the books of Ruth, Esther (ALL of them) and Tobit, and Acts 3 along with, of course John 3 and John 6....such a beautifully universal love song about God and His church, the "One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church Christ entrusted to Peter (against which the gates of hell will not prevail - be they schisms, heresies, sinfulness or the devil's revolt of 35,000 divided protestant sects - the devil is a liar and foments division). For the past several years, I have received nothing but lies, HURT, and broken trust by the churches. Their message is WE DON'T CARE that I and others are lonely, single, divorced, widowed and hurting like hell. I got on my my face before a holy God and cried tears with a contrite heart for a new wife. Would you like to know what I got? Instead of an answer, I got more hurt form the churches, women who could not be my wife, and not even Christian community. I am FED UP FED UP FED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God blesses others, but not me. Why should churches care? The staff and pastors are all smug with their spouses. I do NOT sense ANY love from God. The freaking churches act like its a sin of the devil and hell for available dudes and available women to be together. All us dudes just want to hit on women, is what I'm told by a useless judgemental, condenming, over weight, holier than thou staff member, who of course has a wife. These people can kiss my ass for acting like that. I'm so NOT in church because I have been run off. Maybe God will show up according to Luke 15 with TANGIBLE love, according to my love language. I don't give a rip who reads this and if you don't like it, TOO FREAKING BAD. Maybe you are part of the church "swamp". We need to clear the swamp of these SOBs in Washington too! It is the abject truth. While I don't have anything against 10th Ave North, I imagine God has blessed them with wives. THE AMERICAN CHRISTIAN CULTURE, CHURCHES, & MINISTRIES ARE ALL ABOUT FAMILIES & MARRIED COUPLES. THEY DO NOT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT LONELY, DIVORCED, SINGLE, WIDOWED MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.
