'House Party' was the follow up to 'A Song For You' so don't agree with Adagiosoulb4flesh that this was a miserable failure. Commercially 'Wings of Love' was a success. #3 R&B chart and ~29 pop. I do agree its not very good though.

Actually, "House Party" and "Wings of Love" BOTH shipped gold! The amazing thing about this album was straight funky, but this side? Absolutely incredible!!

What a wonderful tone we coming up we had a group of us thought that we were Temptation and one of my friend in the neighbor one of the youngest of the Beverly's had die back in the 80's but I knew nothing of this medley well my husband also introduced me to this medley I love this medley my husband use to sing this to me I miss his soul but God want him more but oh how I miss him but I play this in memory of him the words was what we had together just loving one another I hope you  or whom ever listen to this medley which  it will take affect on your soul of love the love one you have or had to all take care LUM!!!!

this song was one of my mothers favorite song and became mine  each time I hear this song I think about here. she is alive and well and the best mom ever. I love my mom so much . made me a great mom and I see why my son loves his mom so this song has great memories for me.   just love it.

Incredible vocals from the late Dennis Edwards. Not to mention the harmonies of fellow Temps. The composition,lyrics........excellent percussion,winds,and keys. I am not claiming by any means to be a music scholar....but real basic "ear sense," this is an exquisite piece. Unfortunate for the masses that it did not hit the charts.  Folks in the business could have even made $$$$ on remakes..... just simply a beautiful work.Yes, so nice."Diamonds can't glow like love...." Wow!

heard of this, my fav album.. people said I was crazy, there is no such album.. well i am still enjoying the

i could not find this song at all my daughter then working ay WHUR found the dj aroound Mother's day 2005 0r 6 and told him that i just had to have this song and i ve been elated every since im slso the one that almost got jacked one night whie listening to the quiet storm and could not get the same of the song cause of an idot trying to jack e whears I had to scream then eventully (thank God for cell phones) for help due to an igorant fool ready to jack me for my car I pray he has REPENTED

In 1976, i would lie in bed and listen to Dennis Edwards pour his heart into this one. It never got air play but,I was in South Korea at the time and, I heard in our barracks,I have the LP to this day.

donald clark l heard this song in Paris France at a Reggie club while stationed in Belgium. 1982-1984.l had bought the ablum at Ft Bragg NC years before so l was shocked to hear them playing it in Paris France! l was Really home sick for the states and wanted to Leave and come back to the U.S. you can Keep overseas Give me the U.S. any day!RIP Dennis Edwards you were ONE of the Great leads of the Temptations giving them their 1st Grammy! Cloud Nine something even David Ruffin or Eddie Kendrick could do!
