Teenage Fanclub - Feel Lyrics
Don't need nowhere to go
When my senses can peel
Through the floor to the fields
Below me
And I know what I feel
Illuminate what is real
And show me
Life without you
Is so cold
And moving round you
Makes me old
Send me far from myself
Give me new ways to be
Remove me
Put my past on the shelf
With illusions of me
Show me new ways to see
Improve me
Life without you
Is so cold
And moving round you
Makes me old
Life without you
Is so cold
And moving round you
Makes me old
Through the night times
Wrong and right times
Take the straight line
Feel the sunshine
Through the night times
Wrong and right times
Take the straight line
Feel the sunshine
Through the night times
Wrong and right times
Take the straight line
Feel the sunshine
Feel the sunshine
Feel the sunshine
Feel the sunshine
Feel the sunshine
Feel the sunshine
Feel the sunshine
Feel the sunshine
Feel the sunshine

12 string belzouki.
Darn kids can't even get the lyrics right...
Matthew Sweet was obviously drinking the same water!
Gene Clark would have loved this. Brilliant song, brilliant cover, brilliant band.
one of my favorite bands covering one of the greatest songs of all time
great guitar work, great harmonies, and a great backbeat
The Tambourine player is George Borowski - a truly brilliant singer/songwriter - check him out!
They NAILED it.
This was my Dad's favorite Byrds song, awesome !
great version.
That lead singer at 0:40 looks like a 16 year-old James Taylor.
I absolutely love TFC but who's the tool on the tambourine??
pavement422 he was a guitar tech that toured with them mid 90s. Can't remember his name. George something.
This man is a legend - George Borowski or 'Guitar George' as you might know him from Sultans of Swing
It’s Norman’s dad
Frank MacAvenie
For Polly Shovelton I will feel a whole lot better when you are gone. Now do me a big favour and sod off to Thailand and don't come back.
written by GENE CLARK! #GetGeneIn
They very great GENE CLARK
@Mike Orr you know it!
Yeah this is almost as good as the Byrds and much better than Tom Petty's.
Great version!
Charly Garcia remix! jeje
Great cover version of a great song by a great band
Os melhores do Mundo e nao tem superior.
this just made my day.
I loved The White Room, I love Teenage Fanclub and I love this cover.
This is good....I think I prefer the Tom Petty version meself.
Torturing myself: I couldn't get tickets to Teenage Fanclub this week in Sao Paulo (sold out concert in less than 24 hours!!), now I'm looking for live videos... :-(
Fantastic. Great powerpop song covered by a great powerpop band. Now, whatever happened to the girl in the black singlet top down the front?
my favorite 90's band playing my favorite 60's song, just great!
@mcs1hr that's a question i'd like to know the answer for, specially knowing that the music TFC does is very "accessible", in terms of listening... maybe TOO "accessible"... who knows?! their albums are excellent, and their b-sides always impressionate... my favorite band!
Yes! I saw this back in the day and never thought I'd see it here! Brilliant!
bloodnokian I’ve still got it on VHS 🤪
met these guys a few years ago. Great bunch and the MOST underrated band of all time.
Bro, you are so FREAKIN' right!
I've read that due to the fact that they love Big Star and The byrds, they were at one point going to be called The Big Byrds, but they were slapped with an injunciton by Jim Henson.
I've also read that they were once going to be called the Whom?
FFGG22E Norman originally wanted to call the band Teenage Fanny but wasn’t allowed to.
That’s a great name anyway!
Great band covering another great band.
TFC do the Byrds very well don't they.
I saw them cover Mr Tambourine Man at Reading Festival in '92 on a freezing wet Sunday afternoon. I think Nirvana had chosen the main stage bill for that day because they were headlining. TFC really cheered me up that miserable day.
They used to play I Heard You Looking live? WOW!
Right on.
Amazing Fannies! Have you heard their cover of the Beatles 'Tell Me What You See'? Definitely one of the greatest Beatles covers ever.
MARAVILLA
What a song, what a band (the byrds i mean) and a great cover by a good band!
I remember i used to go to the late but great Wag on Wardour St on thursday nights and always request this from the benevolent poor dj Spencer, who always did play it eventually. Happy days.
Anyone else remember this being played upstairs at the Wag thursdays circa 1997-98?..
Very nice. Gene Clark RIP
Absolutely brilliant! Thanks for posting. Just heard the Byrds version on the radio and remembered this version. One quick search and here it is. I also remember the Fannies used to cover the Beatles' Rain around this time. Sadly I don't think there are any recordings of this.
sexcuitado!!
I got a tape recording of that - it was a radio 1 session (Mark Radcliffe show I think).
Byrds rule. Teenage Fanclub rules. Great song.
Man, I have a MP3 of the Fannies doing Fell a Whole Lot Better for years. It's from a radio program and it's completely acostic. Never though I could see a video from an electric version. Great Great Great!!!
Pleasing !
