I saw Miss Tedeschi perform circa 1990 in North Hampton, NH at a Chinese Restaurant. She had that great blues sound that you can hear in this song. It is great to hear her making it after all these years!

Nice to see Derek Trucks facing the crowd. Saw them in the London palladium in April...good show but he spent 90% of the time with his back to the audience. Ignorant bastard.

I don't know why people always say this. Yeah, I guess he is more known as a slide player but he has always played with and without slide. Just look at his work with Allman Brothers, he used slide just as much as he did no slide.

Derrick Phillips well clearly someone took the covers off them at some point or the covers wouldn't be off. My point being they're replacements if they're double creams and I wondered if anyone knew what the stock pickups were replaced with. I'm guessing they're real PAFs at this point but I'm not sure

@metalmulisha0143, Could be. I had similar pick-ups in a 335 many, many moons ago and, compared with the standard pick-ups in my other 335, they were very high gain.

it's to keep the drums and guitars from bleeding sound into the other,looks better than those plastic walls some bands use.

@mbsnyderc also helps keep the guitars separated on stage. Susan was having a hard time hearing over Derek's amps....from what I understand.

@Sadie Hallinger that's not true there are still young black people that play the blues and white guys have been playing blue for 80 years or so.and R&B is what they used to call any black record it's not a different style it means Rhythm & Blues.Color has little to do with what type of music you play it more of a how it's presented kind of thing and this band plays a little of everything,and there fans come in every color and age.they sellout in India and Japan,those people aren't white,this band is for anyone that likes good music period.

Sad, he was a great keyboard player and possibly the best organist I’ve ever heard, and I’m including the greats like the late John Lord and the late Rick Wright. There must be heck of a Hammond fest in heaven, even though Wright played a Farfisa. Such a pity I’ll be going in the opposite direction.

Hes been around 70/30 slide lately

He has always played both slide and no slide depending on the song. He's a phenomenal player both ways; no other guitarist can convey emotion in such a real way.

@Gillean Freire Because North Italy was settled in part by Germanic tribes - Lombardy, derives its name from a German people 'LangBarts', whose descendants settled in the region - and since Susan's name means 'German' in Italian and she's a natural Blonde/Blue Eyed woman with more Central European/Nordic Features (as opposed to Mediterranean) I figured she might have, at least in part, Germanic blood, and since 'Germanic Blood' is more present in Northern Italy, I guessed her Italian roots may lie partly in the North of that country. But I might be wrong.
