Tea Party, The - Luxuria Lyrics

There's a secret I've learned
So many lives hold their lessons in turn
Just like a fire consumes what it burns
My desire for her is strong

She comes like a wave
When she dances beneath me she says
If I would only just taste her tonight
Then my fight with the night would be over

And the light seems to bend
When this darkness descends
On my soul
Is it strange I can see
Through the veil
When I loose all control

Show me
When this darkness descends
Please show me
When this darkness descends
Luxuria

Behind what she veils
Its just ten steps to her treasure and grail
I'm now convinced I can't fall and I can't fail
Because my love for her is strong

And the light seems to bend
When this darkness descends
On my soul
Is it strange I can see
Through the veil
When I loose all control

Show me
When this darkness descends
Please show me
When this darkness descends
Luxuria

Open the door
Please open the door
I need to see more

Show me
When this darkness descends
Please show me
When this darkness descends
Luxuria

When this darkness descends
Please show me
When this darkness descends
Please show me
When this darkness descends
When this darkness descends
Luxuria

Open the door
Please open the door
Please open the door
I need to see more

Tea Party, The Luxuria Comments
  1. S.... H....

This has so much fucking payoff.... rich layers / textures building into sexy bitch vibratos on those TiTan hammer ons and the drop of the thunder and lightening pull offs of the Gods. Creating the universe, one luxurious lick at a time!

    Open the door!

  2. N.... S....

Why the fuck ain’t this song on iTunes?

  3. G.... H....

Like your comment, I am from Texas and have been a tea party fan for many years I found them on YouTube. I don't know if they ever toured U.S? I have them on my facebook been getting some good feed back and they like there music.. thanks Geoff.

  4. K.... H....

Unfortunaltey they're not too big down here (Canberra, Australia) which is ironic considering Jeff Martin's an Aussie now. The Tea Party is the most underated band, they deserve more! ; )

  5. N.... M....

Stupid political movement preventing the good people of the world from stumbling upon good music because they are afraid when they read tea party.

  6. M.... ....

My canadian friend first showed the bazaar! This band is so cool

  7. J.... S....

Although I was born in Ottawa, I now live in the US. I've shared the magic of The Tea Party to all my friends, and they all got instantly hooked!

  8. i.... ....

One of the BEST bands ever.

  9. S.... M....

is it me or has a verse been cut from this?

  10. C.... M....

Promotions both in Germany and Australia both proved more rewarding than gaining market from the US. Reasonably, the band had choose to pursue other markets for their music.

  11. Z.... ....

Without a doubt my personal favorite off this album...

  12. p.... ....

I actually remember an interview where Jeff Martin explained why they didn't pursue a bigger break in the States.

It was a few years ago, so I don't remember what the explanation was, but I do remember that it was at partially choice.

    FINALLY!!!!
I've been wondering what this song was. I heard it in an AMV about a year and a half ago but could not remember the name to save my life. Great song.

  14. b.... ....

I keep wondering if there are any americans that really know this band? They should have hit it big in the states, there so different, unusual, and I guess that's what's missing in today's music.

  15. b.... ....

This band is sooo fking awesome, please come back!!

  16. b.... ....
