Tea Party, The - Aftermath Lyrics
Desperate to take
lost in its wake
time slips away to soon
Pleasures of fear
where could we go from hear
waste what we want
we beg and we're bought
and nothing is wrong with us
life in these veins
godless and stained
glimpses of hope exist
threatened by chance
time slips away to soon
waste what we want
we beg and we're bought
and nothing is wrong with us

Tea Party, The Aftermath Comments
Very different to the rest of the Album but as others here say a good ending for it.
So different than the other final songs on their albums but awesome way to close out Transmission!
every time I feel like a such a fucking freak I crank this song
Another one of the few albums that made a huge impact on my self. This was the piece that closed the last of all the countless doors that every song had opened in me.
"The question of what happens to the soul in the face of technology," the theme of this album as described by Jeff Martin - one of the masterpiece of the 1990's, no question.
seems like a spiritual awakening / dark night of the soul kinda moment, he said in an interview that recording this album nearly killed him.
I guess that was the question he was asking himself though.
