How has Mudvayne not been mentioned? If you're naming off "nu-metal" bands, Mudvayne are kings.
Disturbed, Taproot, Korn , Linkin Park, Chevelle =Bands who had THE BEST first nu metal albums ever. So sad it's gone.

True but FTL was their best album.
I now that... What I said was, "before 2002 when they were still good" Untouchables was the last good album Korn made.
Follow The Leader came out in 1998 not after 2002 and it was their best album. Prayer was Disturbed's worst album by far, LoveHate had many great songs, She Loves Me Not was great but there were better songs on the album like M-80 and the album was brilliant.
I actually think Follow the Leader was Korn's worst album (pre 2002, when they were still good)... but that's me. I actually think Limp Bizkit's best album was 3 dollar bills. I actually think Disturbeds' best album was Prayer. LoveHate had a good single "She love me not" but the album wasn't good. System of a Down's Toxicity was good, but Taproots' first album was better.
Na, Infest is the best Nu Metal album ever, every song is good. 2nd would probably be LP's Hybrid Theory > Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish > Disturbed The Sickess > Papa Roach's LoveHate > Korn's Follow The Leader > Rage Against's self titled > LP's Meteora > Drowning Pool's Sinner > Limp Bizkit's Significant Other > Korn's self titled > Slipknot's self titled > System Of A Down's Toxicity > Spineshank's Self Destructive Pattern etc.
That was good too. But I like Taproot's better. KoRn's first album was better than Papa Roach's Infest. So was Slipknot's first album. Let's see, Soulfly's first two cd's, and Linkin Parks' Hybrid Theory. And Disturbeds' The Sickness, all better than Infest. But Infest was good though.
