Tammy Wynette - All I Have To Offer You Is Me Lyrics

[Tammy]
Before you take another step
There's something you should know
About the years ahead and how they'll be.
You'll be living in a world
Where roses hardly ever grow
'Cause, all I have to offer you is me.

[Both]
There'll be no mansion waiting on the hill
With crystal chandeliers
And there'll be no fancy clothes for you to wear
Everything I have is standing here
In front of you to see
All I have to offer you is me.

[Instrumnental]

[George]
Sweetheart I'll give you all my love
In every way I can
Make sure that's what you want
While you're still free
The only gold I have for you
Is in this wedding band
'Cause, all I have to offer you is me.

[Both]
There'll be no mansion waiting on the hill
With crystal chandeliers
And there'll be no fancy clothes for you to wear
Everything I have is standing here
In front of you to see
All I have to offer you is me.

All I have to offer you is me...

Two of the most awesome singers to ever live.So sad they parted ways.Sure they loved each other to the day she died and he I'm sure, still does. Not to say he doesn't love Nancy. These two just had something special and they couldn't hide it when they sang together even after their divorce.God Bless George the rest of his time.So sad he is retiring this yr.

Dear Texas Doodlebug 3, You are a blessing from God by preserving this fine music to share with the rest of the world. These singers bring back, "Precious Memories" as sung by Jim Reeves and others. I came from a land where steelband and calypso is considered as a part of our culture but my first choice in music is" Country Western and Gospel as sung by George Beverly Shea, Pat Boone and the others". First Roy Rogers and Gene Autry caught my attention then I started paying attention to Country.

@TexasDoodleBug3 I have been hearing these lovely songs for a long time but only since I got this computer did I get to really know these singers like I know Gentleman Jim, Dolly, Porter, Skeeter, Charlie, 3 Hanks and all these wonderful singers. I know that some have qualified to sing in Heaven but I guess some are still with us. May God continue blessing them with the ability to render to us these lovely pieces of priceless art. Thanks.

country music has gone to hell ,as far as i see ,all the greats are leaving us one by one,,,just watch what i,m saying
Go and see them while you still can ,some day soon they,ll be gone Ilove all of them

  35. g.... ....

i have to agree with bil1228, tammy was a treasure. tammy was the greatest female singer this earth has ever heard. an earthly angel for sure.
and george the greatest male singer.
too bad country music is gone now.
i'm so glad i lived in the 60's and 70's what great music to listen to.
when my heart was broke, they sang about it as though it was meant for me.
