Listen to the progression it's not like Can't Explain. Both are good songs.

Actually the main riff progression is almost the same, but cant explain hasn't a G at the end, and its faster. I am not saying it is a plagiarism, just sounds similar to me, the melody too in some parts.

A lot of songs sound like "Can't Explain". In this case the vocal melody is even similar. He was probably influenced by them, and who isn't - The Who rock. Should he face legal action? Hell no - all artists do this and it ISN"T a blatant ripoff. Point being is there's too much out there in pop music not to hear similarities anymore. I know you're just casually commenting, and you're right, but just my two cents :P
