Love it. I love everything they've done to date. Sure, it wasn't Tell All Your Friends or Where You Want To Be, but those were for that point in time. I can't pretend to know what was going on with TBS personally when they write each album, but they know how to reach me. Keep it up guys, if even just for me personally ;-) I'll love your music forever. TBS= All-time favorite band.

Heard this on Sirius XM Faction and thought this maybe from TAYF or WYWTB, but was shocked after I found out this was from their newest album. This is the TBS that I fell in love with back in 2005 when I first heard them. And after their WB years, it looks like this could hopefully be a return to glory days of the Victory era. Hearing this gives me hope that other groups like Brandnew might revisit their old glory days again in the future. This video reminds me of Cartel's Honestly, oh the nostalgia for 2004-2007. 

I think Taking Back Sunday have lost themselves in the last few years, i'm not saying this song is bad but it is nothing like their older stuff. Up until Louder Now was the best of them, New Again was good but not quite there. I had high hopes when I heard John and Shaun were coming back I was proper excited, I was thinking Tell all your friends sort of shit would be coming back but they took a complete different direction. Even listening to Flicker, Fade i thought yer this is good, but it's just not the TBS I love anymore. Still see them live though just for their old shit. Lets hope Brand New have more success when they release their new album, THAT I am very excited for.

That's great that you're a huge fan, but that early 2000's emo has died out, and you can't expect a band to sound like that almost ten years later. At some point, a band has to evolve and change their sound to keep up and still be relevant, and TBS has been pretty good at doing that.

@Phil G There is no way they could sound like they use to anymore for a couple reasons. One is that Tell All Your Friends came out 13 years ago and most of them have kids and a family now which totally changes your outlook on life and emotions. It came out when I was around 12 or 13 and it completely changed my outlook on what music was and what it could be but now they have experience and that changes the way you do everything in life, including music and art. I will forever be indebted to this band.

always clumped in with them due to their "alternative" sound. i agree, nothing alike, yet genres are similar. meaning those who like the bands you listed, often like taking back Sunday as well. they go hand in hand, yet not being the same. also, this album is more up beat and happy than there others. the older albums fit in much smoother with those other bands. still not the same, but a smoother process to lump them all together than this album. 

Oh, they're so much better than those other bands you mentioned.  These guys are brilliant!
