Does anyone know the source of this footage? It sort of looks like Granada footage from the TV show. Wherever it's from, I really like the way that the creator of the video added a bit of slo-mo to the editing. It makes the video very powerful, at least for me.

I just don't get his appeal. He mugs, preens and screws up his mouth, stomping awkwardly while singing repetitive songs in a pleasant voice. There's just no real artistry to any of that. Maybe you needed to see him in person to really understand . . . So many people talk about how magnetic he was, and I believe they felt that way, so I guess it just doesn't carry over on film, at least not to me. Oh well...

Have you listened to the music, read the lyrics ? I recommend the Brown album, Electric Warrior, The Slider and Tanx if you haven't. I admit in my opinion he didn't have the best stage presence in the world but the music speaks for itself.

It most definitely carries over on film. The first time I saw this video, I was reduced to tears. And I'm not a person given to respond that way to visual medium. The intensity of his passion and emotional expressiveness just hit me right in the feels. For many people, he is that charismatic.

I re-discovered Marc one year ago. I’m 65 now. I bought Electric Warrior at 18. My obsession with Marc and all his band members runs deep. From acoustic to electric his rocks. Can’t get enough. So bitter sweet. I hear his influence all the time. Sadly with no credit. Marc was a great one. 🤘

I don't necessarily think these little videos represent him well either. They tend to be somewhat corny especially by today's standards. You must really watch the videos of Marc's live performances especially the earlier T-Rex performances. Marc was an exceptional guitarist. He only began playing when he was around 17 yrs old, but by his early twenties he was playing comparable to the best like Hendrix, Beck, Clapton, Page. And those guys started at a much younger age than Marc did.

Watching these videos of Marc keep him alive in  my heart-I have been been a fan since I first heard him in 1973 & no it's 2015 and watching him reminds me of being young and happy.

Such a resinating unique sound that came out of that guy that Lennon couldn't top with his version, two amazing artists with the pipes to match taken too soon.. Miss them both dearly, both tragic losses that still make a lump in the heart. What Gloria must go through when she hears his beautiful voice.

this track is of the 'Dance in the midnight' album..released in 1983.through then OMBFC owners John & Shan Bramley own label....the album is made up of unreleased recording which have been touched up and added to! ...unfortunately it was only issued on vinyl and has not (yet) been re-released on c.d
....a long overdue re -issue me thinks!
