Didn't Jill Scott have an album and a song called "Woman"? Hmm idk but not feeling this... tone wise its too squeaky and annoying. But I get it though, its good for her brand. alot of ppl are making money off of the whole "woman empowerment" movement and she has made that her brand now since mainstream R&B hasn't been kind.

She has something to say...so this brand has become her platform and she should stand on it until she is heard and a change has come.

Run everything? no, they don't want to run everything, they just want equality and respect. There are some that just want the man to stop beating her. That's a big change that needs to happen. They want to feel valued in their contributions in the things you named. They are in those positions but what is the attitude they get from most men. Some men are bitter when there is woman in the positions you named (actually you sound a little bitter). When men can view the woman as his equal then we all win. I'm not saying the woman can do everything a man can do, but a real man knows how to make a woman feel like a woman, and I think that's the golden nugget in Syleena's song. Recognize me as your queen and I will make you my king. If you are a man that exerts your power over a woman remember-- "a woman gave birth to the man". Respect her...that's the change we need.
