The lead singer is actually from newtown Connecticut. I met him at one of his shows and looked him up on Facebook and saw it said newtown

The singers from Colombia, my friend from Bogota said she knew him, had a picture of him at a football match (soccer)

Because Rise shat all over us with their Sleeping With Sirens bullshit constantly, and now they left Rise so some other bands can finally be seen.
Was so sick to death of the over advertisement and ram it down your throat-ness that Rise did with them haha, found so many good new bands since they signed to Epitaph

@Kyle Carr They used to be my favourite band haha, but they just way too over advertised by rise, and all i could ever find no matter what i searched for was them, especially in rise. And IMO they're a pretty shit band now, pop punk rock is way too overdone these days

Best Metalcore band right now 

@intactGB I don't really see how Parkway Drive fits within the same subgenre of metal with Asking Alexandria, I See Stars, Issues, etc. Parkway Drive severely outweighs them in being heavy, versatility, and the ability to not sound generic. Now I'm not knocking those bands for sounding "generic," I listen to each of them, but they all have a certain sound to each put them in the same category. (Issues is one of the more creative ones though.) But I don't really think Parkway fits with those other bands in terms of "metalcore."

@Darkest Before Dawn The delineation between post-hardcore and metalcore is more obvious is some cases than others. Issues and I See Stars, with all of the emphasis on electronica, clean vocal choruses, and heavy chugging are definitely on the end of Post-Hardcore. They are very similar, but again, post-hardcore usually has a lot of electronic sounds and less riffing. Eg./ Crown the Empire is Post-hardcore  while I the Breather is metalcore. Of course they cross into each others "yards" alot, but they fit in thier own categories for the most part. 

@Darkest Before Dawn metalcore originally was melodic hardcore music. Like the forefathers of metalcore. Killswitch engage, all that remains. BFMV(their heavier stuff). The only more modern bands I consider metalcore is Miss may I, august burns red, parkway drive, adestria. Not to be a genre Nazi but that's what I consider metalcore. I feel like since that name was already around and the bands you names sound like a watered down version of the bands I named the name metalcore just seemed to stick

No chance. The vocals are dope. If anything the quality of recording is holding them back slightly. But as with anyband, it gets better overtime. Like Architects. Check their first vs their most recent.
