Actually, I Wanna Be Where You Are is a Michael Jackson song when he recorded his first solo project Got To Be There in 1972. Schooney is correct. I think his brothers did background vocals, but it is a Michael song. I can see how people get it confused and say it is a Jackson 5 song. It is a Michael song though.

And just to note if coko wanted to sound pitch for pitch exactly like michael whenshe sung this song she could have if she would have chose too! If you don't beleive me listen to swv's song "think your gonna like it".
