Sword, The - Seven Sisters Lyrics
Is the time right to find a new religion
Under the ground way down below
Into the light with fear and superstition
Stumbling around and down she goes
How much there is to know
And how long it will take her
To reap what can be sown
Seven sisters sobbing by the shore
Longing for their lost loves whose ships sail no more
Waiting as the hours pass them by
Growing weak and weary as one by one they die
Is the time right to find a new religion
Into the light – forget your superstition
Follow the sound on down the road
Oh, he wonders
How much there is to know
And how long will it take him
To learn it as he goes
Spring submits to summer
Summer bows to fall
Autumn’s leaves lay down and die
At the winter’s beck and call
Seven sisters sobbing by the shore
Longing for their lost loves whose ships sail no more
Waiting as the hours pass them by
Growing weak and weary until one by one they die

Sword, The Seven Sisters Comments
I keep finding myself humming this song atleast 4 times a day, its fucking catchy
I love Black Sabbath and Ozzy but on some real shit, Ozzy didn't do pagan music like the sword. Black Sabbath, Sabbath bloody Sabbath, n.i.b, heaven and hell, Mr Crowley none compare to this whole album
Yes, but Sabbath was unreal for their time.
You have to think about the time difference between the bands, Sabbath was something completely different and unique for their time while these guys already had a genre to work with. Its like how Electric Wizard wrote the heaviest album of their time with dopethrone and for a while they were considered among the heaviest bands, but now there are bands like Conan and Monolord who are considerably heavier than Wizard.
the man sounds nothing like ozzy. y do youtube people always compare musicians to others? their sound is unique
Agreed, if there was anyone I thought sounded slightly like Ozzy it would be the singer from Stoned Jesus.
"Seven sisters sobbing by the shore, Longing for their lost loves who ships sail now more, Waiting as the hours pass them by, Growing weak and weary until one by one they die!" Damn that line is EPIC
WHY HASN'T ANYONE MADE A LYRIC VIDEO FOR THIS ALBUM THIS ALBUM NEEDS TO BE IN FUCKING ROCK HISTORY BOOKS IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME EVERYTIME SOMEONE LISTENS TO IT A NEW GALAXY IS BORN INCLUDING A MILLION PUPPIES AND KITTENS
Straight up Black Sabbath.
+Chris Jones I only partly agree. There's a strong Sabbath influence for sure, but at the end of the day, these guys have molded their own sound.
True, is just the guitar playing and the tuning remind of Sabbath.
+Chris Jones Reminds me of Puny Human, no idea why, though...
Anyone here because of Danny?
@***** Yes sir/sirette.
ROCK is not dead
0:18 Not according to Sam Harris.
Definitly the best song off the album besides cloak of feathers
Doesnt sound like ozzy drums and guitar clearly influenced but singer is more clutch
I'm not really hearing the Ozzy thing, I think Iommi is much more an obvious similarity.
Second Ozzy singer
Or not. Ozzy hasn't sounded this good since Black Sabbath.
Same. It's best not to talk about it.
reddit brought me here
I had to stop listening to this album. I was running out of underwear to crap in.
best one on album! :)
Voice resembles Ozzy much more in this song.
