This is one of my favorite post breakup Swans tracks, the instruments swell together so fluidly and smooth, lyrically it's beautiful is every respect, about Micheal Gira's Wife/partner directly, it's beautiful and lovely.

Awfully placed on The Seer. But at the same time such a great piece of music.

I feel like Gira's original vocals of this song would've been a lot better. I think it'd fit the sinister tone of this album a whole lot more, while still being a nice, calming interlude

Llama Duck I honestly love how this track is a gem in an ocean of pain and nihilism, it's counter is a duality of this chaotic album

The demo version from I Am Not This has Gira's vocals instead of Karen O's but its completely acoustic

Boyo I like the vocal parts but wouldn’t mind Peter Hammill did them

Thank you Swans for all of the fantastic music through the decades. Other songs of any style, I can't think of one that I could reasonably say exceeds the beauty of this work of art.

I just love how the entire second disc is a sort of buildup to The Apostate, really makes that song a perfect closer with how chaotic it is

It was written to Michael to dedicate to his daughter.

This might be the weakest song on the album.
I'll qualify that by saying that for what it is, it's still very well done.

I agree her vocals sounds too forced. The music is good though

Well I mean this whole album is like stockhom syndrome. They take you hostage and bombard you with confusion and any music that sounds even remotely sane sounds like the best thing ever.
