I should like this given how much I liked "This Cut Is Deepest", but...I don't....
I was all over ghost of loss, then Hope came out and I was iffy, now its one of my favorite albums. I liked the progression after Plague of butterflies, but "The Emerald Forest and the Blackbird" doesn't get much rotation. The lyrics always held a punch to them post Morning never came, as if they came from a deep well of the writer, these seem like forgeries of that past passion. It is impossible to pass judgement off of two tracks, but what I've heard doesn't inspire hope. Will I buy it still? I've already pre-ordered the vinyl set so, there you go. So long as they don't pull an In Flames, I will always support this band. Let us hope these sample tracks were label picks for accessibility and not band picks to showcase their new direction.

combined; they are about 3 hours worth of music so it's highly probable that you could like one album and dislike the others.

i an purely subjective, but StS is starting to kick the bucket with this last song. I understand that they are trying something different but where is the gloom and beauty of the first 3 albums. This song is more proper for Trees of Eternity but you don't get what you want in life. Hope the part 3 respects the roots of StS.

This part of the triple album is pretty much acoustic, they said that right from the start.

+Shannon Bodmer For what it's worth, the triangle stands for fire and masculinity, a circle represents the sun, and the lines dividing the outer two circles appear to form a compass thus keeping this in mind the white full circle may point towards North. But this is just speculation based on conventional knowledge about symbolism. My interpretation of this is " Fire is coming North"
