I do agree...I don't think Doyle's guitar tone really fit this live performance. Though interesting. I wish he would've used the more mellow clean tone that he used on the studio version. I'm all for doing things differently live, but his tone this particular time didn't really fit. Too fuzzy and twangy for this number, IMO.

Thinking the same thing- way too overdriven. A nice semi hollow or strat tone would have been great

I love the bass line of the session bassist Paul Bryan on the studio version. Of course Doyle Bramhall shines as always.

Cut away on guitar is left handed,headstock is upside down and he does string righty and does string bends down instead of up.

Oh what complete and utter forgiving,such great repentance by the offender and sweet forgiveness by the offended! Such would be great among human kind!

Hi Susan. I work with a guy (Bass Guitar) from a band named Sopwith Camel and they are trying to get back together again. He used to open here in the Bay Area for Big Brother and the gal you sound like. I only know him because we both work in the Bay Area and I walk out with him most nights as he talks about trying to get his band together. They are together and he practices many nights.
