Well according to your beliefs sir, not all of us believe that way. Some of us just listen to these songs because we enjoy it or we can relate to them in some way without bringing religion in the equation. Hence why there can be many different interpretations when it comes to music or literature in general.

I think this song is pretty confusing.

I will be honest.

I listened to a decent amount of nasty music in my life and I get some of the same vibes here.

Majority of the song is meant to tie to biblical allusion of water of life being faith. IDK if that helps lessen the confusion.
