I've always thought it sounded like the Peppers musically. Muir is the greatest lyricist in the history of Rock & Roll in my opinion. He never dd drugs or drank. It's all just from a "Cyco" point of view. I think Muir writes lyrics for people from different points of view. A buddy of mine committed suicide last year and he was a Christian. I think of him when I hear this song. As an atheist, I appreciate the lyrics and can "feel it."

You can also notice that this song music style is totally different from the other songs on Freedumb!

This was actually written by Mike Clark for the band Creeper which featured Mike Clark on guitar during the ST breakup 1995-1997. The original Creeper version was called "If you could see the world through my eyes" and it's on the Creeper's compilation of demos called "The songs that must not die" (this compilation also features a song with almost the same name entitled "If you could see the world through my eyez" but it's a totally different song). I think that Mike Muir re-wrote the lyrics.

I don't know why, but the guitarplaying reminds me of Carlos Santana, except these guys add some major punk to it. Fucking love it.
