Sub Focus - Safe In Sound Lyrics
It's raining bullets out my window
A sea of shells are on the ground
It may be fatal when the wind blows
But you and I are safe in sound

Como me encanta los vocals y la melodia ❤
I like potatoes
@***** No arms. :<
+Dog Daze hi
They totally sampled Sleepyhead by Passion Pit for this song! <3
+Grejarra Nah, they sampled Óró Mo Bháidín, as did Passion Pit.
this song is so fucking bad

Fucking amazing, the choirs are incredible
@Alessandro Marazzi It's from an irish hymn 'Oro Mo Bhaidin' by Mary O'Hara
@Paigey O'malley :O omg so great
Fantastico :D
Off course :) Sub focus is really one of the best
Hopefully this blows the fuck up after the whole radio thing :)
Someone help me what other song is the part at 00:50 seconds from. I've heard it somewhere before but i can remember help please.
It's from passion pit - sleepyhead
It's from an irish hymn 'Oro Mo Bhaidin' by Mary O'Hara
It's from Darude - Sandstorm.
In B-Complex's "Beautiful Lies" or maybe
in Netsky's "Tomorrow's Another Day"?
Message to the people of the future - Thank you and no problem.
Sound is like, the only place I've ever felt safe.
I don't really give a damn about whether or not Sub Focus changed in a good/bad way. All I have to say is that this is a damn good song and that build up and drop at 1:27 gives me goosebumps so good.
Love this type of comments 👍👍👍🎶🎶🎶❤❤❤
SHOOTERWILIAMSON BROUGHT ME HERE!
hard bro,so can i kill her, ovcoarse your my boy
NBF brought me here ;)
Nick ben fanning?
this is just perfect! in love with this song
Well this makes me wanna kill myself
Old school pendulum style. Dope.
best subfocus song yet
this and smooth
@Dennis Zurlinden AMEN BROTHER!
You've not heard Airplane, then
It sounds like Sleepyhead from Passion Pit
Paloma A. It's actually Oro mo bhaidin by Mary O hara. Passion pit then sampled it.
This is reminding me of Pendulum, I have no clue why.
Get em sub focus......love it.....
Such a beautiful song
Don't hate in the artist guys hate on the industry ! It's there fault his fans have to suffer :(
I hear Sleepyhead. :)
I hear Óró Mo Bháidín by Mary o'hara :-)
Thank you. I was listening to Zeds Dead dead of winter mix, heard that little bit and was like I know this?! from where?!
@Enitoni ahahahahahah me too it remind me <3
I hear ass
Very true
Sample borgore and netsky moar
There is no borgore sample its not even from sleepy head they its older then both of them. Also he didn't sample netsky rofl.
@Dar Eis Id like to point out that this channel deleted my comment, I can only assume that assures its credibility. Any how, Ill repost, and will make sure to keep a copy of it so I can paste.
Bro borgore and passion pit both sampled that sample and so did sub focus. None of them own the sample.
I know you saw my comment that was deleted. I covered all of this stuff.
360p awsome tune
720p goosebumps
The difference! o_O
Hey I have heard those like really light vocals before. Where are they from?
Starting 0:45
@HappyHardstyle97 sleepyhead by passion pit, although its originally óró mo bháidín by mary o'hara
sleepyhead
+Seb Morale No, Óró Mo Bháidín
yeah but i doubt sub focus used that original sample
why wouldnt he? he did for sure you can tell if you listen close. why would he grab a sample of a sample with a bunch of unneeded electronic layers already added pitched up way higher when he can go to the source and get a clean sample
i love how he put the sleepy head sample in there by passion pit you ask what went wrong but to me everything is so Right
Everyone seriously stop complaining about how Sub Focus changed. Even though he's opened up his style a little bit, he's still an incredible artist. Plus, his tune Eclipse shows that the old Sub is still alive. I'm sick of seeing "Sub Focus what happened, Sub Focus why, Torus sucks, Sub Focus sucks because he's mainstream"
I simply can't believe somebody would diss Torus. Almost 2017 and I still enjoy it.
Totally nothing - such a great track! And such a great LP. Love to hear this, and the croud goes wild when I play this on a gig. The sample of Mary o Hara is such a booster...
love it
sleeeeeeeeeeeeeepy heaaaaaaaaad! SICK SAMPLE mixing awesome!
Ricardo Borjas I agree, that’s mixed perfectly!
Passion pit did it first. and better. :)
I'm sorry but for me this will always be a sleepyhead rip-off. A bad one too.
Completely different genres of music...clearly you have your preference, but calling a song that uses the same sample a ripoff is just ridiculous. It is extremely common for artists to sample the same work in EDM, because most people (non-hipsters anyways) enjoy hearing samples they've heard before put in a different direction.
It doesn't matter it's a different genre... Using the same chords with the same sample just seems a little original when it has done before. Just my opinion.
@stevenvdwekken You literally make no sense. This song is not even remotely close to Sleepyhead outside that one sample. The actual melody for this song starts at 1:28 and that melody is not anywhere in Sleepyhead. The sample is not by Passion Pit either. Each artist used this sample differently and in their own way and in different keys. The original sample is mary o'hara - Óró Mo Bháidín. Go complain ignorantly somewhere else.
@ralexh11 tthankyou for the arguements, couldn't figure out where i heard that bit from until i saw this so thanks! haha
mary o'hara - Óró Mo Bháidín to hear the original to this ......
Love it
@Google+ STAPH!
it has a similar bass sound, not drunk, just a good ear O.o
Tuuuuuuune!
Foxtel chill out lounge for life!
go home dude, ure drunk -.-"
Sample is from passion pit... Sick
i cant wait to see him at Prague 9/11/2013.. really looking forward to it! hellyea
kinda reminds me of nobody's perfect(netsky remix)
this is so epic!
This song is so fucking good live
This is fucking proper
vocals sample also used in passion pit "sleepyhead"!
Sub Focus makes the best DnB songs
iProGaming try Camo&Krooked too, for a sweet blast of nostalgia
love the song Sub Focus is one of my fav
If you say this is shit, you've got no taste.
I can listen this song over and over and over, Andy C played it @ RAM records Amsterdam. It was soooooooooo sick!
I think he meant gay as in happy
Can't say I'm sure about the sound Sub Focus used for the build up, but the drop physically made me smile. I love this kind of drum and bass.
Different strokes for different folks, personally I dig this and Black Sun Empire. Depends on the mood :)
what about dark dnb (or darkstep)??...Its amazing
Óró Mo Bháidín
Original sample for this and Passion Pit's Sleepyhead :)
You should look it up and give it a listen, it's lovely! I was going to post the link but it wouldn't let me
Sub focus @ nottingham on 22nd October, gonna me hugeee!
Pony 9314

Awesome Song
Kony 2012
Song especially on MDMA !!!!!!!!!!!!! :p
Such a beutifull
haha :)
dnb has become so gay. sub focus used to produce great shit. this is pathetic. feel free to call me names now. lol see if i care. *gets back to neurofunk*
THIS IS GREAT , I love it!
I hate it when they delete the comment, drives my mind insane!
in background at the end i hear follow the light drums...
I'd quite like to see someone attempt a mashup of Sleepyhead and this, just to see how it would sound...
u r pusi fagt so i fk u moma cuz dis is YT
I keep thinking of Chris De Burgh - Spaceman Came Travelling.
Once it really kicks in its basically:
Passion Pit - Sleepyhead (Sub Focus Remix)
Sampled from: Mary O'Hara - Óró Mo Bháidín
This needs a music video
Some things are better left unseen.
ditto...
Anyone know the lyrics to the song? I cant get the last line.
This is has go to be one of the best songs on the album!
I really don't consider this type of Sub Focus "cheesy" in any way, i find it melodic and way less minimalist than his old style. I like it better
Saved for when it's actually raining bullets on my window and I can be safe in sound IRL
Amazing song!
nice drop to this
Listen to "Druggy" (from 2007 I think) and notice the total lack of cheesy synths.
I haven't really observed that happening. Can I have some examples?
Dude, it's okay. You don't need to like Sub Focus to like Dnb. All due respect to Sub Focus, his style isn't for everyone.
(I'll throw in the fact I do like Sub Focus though)
better is X-ray....much better :D
I'm listening heavy metal, but I really enjoy this type of music too. <3 It. This song is so beautiful :]
love the track hate the vocals
