I ad an album when I was younger that I (kinda) liked.
At that time I thought that his voice sounded a bit feminine, which actually worked fairly well for 80s glam metal but as time went by his voice seems to have gotten better and better to me!
And their sound has gotten heavier...
I’ve read some comments about bands sounding better and better with age but, as for me , for this band, that statement is DEFINITELY true!

Michael Sweet looks like Lucifer. Is kind of interesting that Aleister Crowley mentioned in one of his writings how the yellow and black color is a very prominent symbol used in the occult world as well as the number 777. In fact one of Crowley’s most important book is title Liber 777. The number 13 is another important number, if not the most important number to occultist including the Freemasons and the Illuminatis. My point is if you add the three numbers of the verse they like to use from the Bible independently, Isaiah 53:5, so we do 5+3+5 boom we get 13. To the occultist this is a ingenius way to hide in plain sight their true identity from those they call the “profane” or not worthy of knowing the “true light”(Luciferian doctrine). I mean I can go on and on regarding how full of esoteric knowledge is embedded in Stryper. Plain and simple this is NOT by ANY means a Christian Metal Band at all. You have to be really blind or retarded to think it is. You might as well listen to Iron Maiden. In fact even Iron Maiden’s drummer now claims to be a ‘born again Christian.’ It seems as though nowadays you can be one of Satan’s disciple while worshipping Jesus. Very confusing to me or pure deception.

Super band!!!. The first song I heard from them was To Hell With The Devil a clasic. And this song is just great to me. It shows the maturity of the band. And they have not loose the quality of their work.

Damn!!! This band is just a few surviving ones from Golden Era of Rock N Roll... They unplugged and went on purgatorial asylum for 11 years, then they're back with so much venom and power. Sorry, but Stryper have aged badly compared to the 80's and 90's and became compromisers like TobyMac, Michael W. Smith, Lauren Daigle, Chris Tomlin and Skillet. Sad.

Adoro Michael Sweet, Robert, Oz Fox, Perry Richardson e também o Tim Gaines, que saiu recentemente. Dia 19 de setembro eu verei o Stryper aqui na minha cidade, Belo Horizonte e pela primeira vez verei o Michael Sweet tocando ao vivo diante dos meus olhos. Sei que o Stryper já veio aqui outras vezes e eu não consegui assistir ao show. Mas desta vez eu e minha esposa estaremos vendo uma das maiores bandas do cenário garde/heavy diante de nossos olhos e e eu gostaria muito de conhecer o Michael Sweet pessoalmente e toda a galera do Stryper. Aguardo ansioso a hora do show.

It's miserable that he lost his voice. It happened to John Bon Jovi too. When you work on show biz, you will abuse your voice too much and don't save and take care enough like a classical singer because you want to make money as much as you want. That makes singer short life.

I have been listening to Stryper since the mid 80's when I got The Yellow and Black Attack :) I really like their music and they have a great ministry. I will say that the main guitar riff in the beginning sounds similar to the riff from one of Metallica's songs from The Black Album....the song is Wherever I May Roam...both are great songs :) Love Stryper :)
