Stryper at their best. This song proves that you don't have to go trash or shreddy to have a heavy and majestic tune. IMHO ATL was musically their most accomplished album. Melodies, the riffs, fist pumping and head banging songs.

Why I need Jesus Christ as Savior of my life.......
God has given us the 10 Commandments to live by.  I have broken Commandments 7, 8, & 9.  I have lied, stolen something, and committed adultery.  Matthew 5:28 says,.... "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."  So by my own admission, I am a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart.  So if God judges me by the 10 Commandments on judgement day, will I be guilty or innocent?  I would be guilty.  And the Bible says that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).  God demands perfection.....but knowing that no one can attain it, he sent his son Jesus (Yeshua) to save us from our sins.  Think of it this way.........I am in a courtroom and have been sentenced to death for breaking Commandments 7, 8, 9......but then Jesus literally walks into the courtroom and says "I'll pay his fine.....and I'll pay it with my life"  The judge says "ok" and you are charged with nothing and are free to go.  Wouldn't you feel indebted to that person?  After all, he did just save your life. An innocent man was brutalized, spit on, flogged, and crucified for YOUR sins. He is your Savior and all that he asks is that you believe in him and declare him with your mouth (Romans 10:9).  He is offering you the free gift of salvation (eternal life) and all you have to do is accept it.  Who in their right mind refuses a free gift??  God is a loving God but he is also a just God, and will one day punish the wicked and unrepentant.  Accept him as Savior of your life while there is still time, because one day time will be up.  The "because I'm a good person, I'll go to heaven" assumption, is a lie straight from hell.  There will be a lot of "good people" in hell.  Why?  Not because of their good deeds on earth, not because they gave money to the poor, or were friendly to everyone, not because they cared for grandma,.....but because they refused to acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Savior.  "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." (John 3:18)  They will be in hell out of their own pride. Remember, God does not send anyone to hell, he simply honors their decision.  The free gift of salvation is accessible to everyone, but its a limited time offer.  Accept him while you still can,...its the best life insurance policy going.

Here is how you get that life insurance policy……..(pray this prayer)

mouth and believe with my heart that Jesus is your Son, and that he died on the cross at Calvary that

Where are the commandments outlawing:
Rape?
Slavery?
Sexual abuse?
Child abuse?

Great song from their best album they ever made. The album got alot of hate by stryper so called fan but Against The Law is an Awesome album. It got me listening to heavier music much more. I used to listen to everything, wayback in 1990. It blew my mind, the Shining Star cover of Earth Wind & Fire is just killer. Long live Stryper.

It's the only Stryper album I like. I'm not really much of a popmetal or glam metal (because usually they were melodically generic, predictable and simple) guy, but this album was quite solid and strong in many ways. Already the intro riff to this song hooks my intrest with it's polyrhythm. Main chorus melody is "nursery rhyme" type of super poppy but that's ok, because there are many interesting elements too. And it is positive energy, a necessary force needed in life.

I recognize where you're coming from, but don't personally roll "pre-trib". Something about it sounds like the Cross has failed, or the Church established by Christ has failed. Jesus returning has always been the teaching (Creed, etc.), but rapture is a newer teaching. How about "I have no idea when/how Jesus will finish history" for me.
