Okay I hate to point this out as I absolutely love this band but....isn't the chorus pretty much the same from their song "Andy warhol"?

If having to choose, I’d pick being blind rather than deaf. And I do believe that’s as good a compliment as a band can receive.

I discovered these guys completely by accident when I was searching for a song titled "Your Biggest Mistake." I screwed up the search, and the first suggestion to come up was "Your Worst Mistake" by Strung Out. I decided, "Fuck it; might as well give it a shot." I've been hooked on these dudes ever since. It actually might have turned out to be my best mistake. Strung Out kicks ass!

I agree. If the vocalist sounds even a little bit well produced then it is automatically "gay boyband vocals". They do this shit with bands like Blink-182 or New Found Glory. The music is the same but because it doesn't sound like they're gurgling razor blades it's not good enough.

+OldSchoolAddict As mentioned before, the clown is played by Chris, the bass player. Chris struggled with addiction and is now sober, so the clown being a drunken mess really means more than what it does at first glance.

@Jason G I understand the metaphor being portrayed here. It really did suck what Chris had gone through, it makes sense with the container of Coors beer. I wonder what the other people in the video are representing (mother with the baby at the bus stop, the prostitute, etc.)

Camilo Gonzalez Martel melodic fast passed punk/metal is probably a better description but we all know SO doesn’t really fit into any genre. They are golden shining gods on albums. The new drummer has really helped their live shows again too. I’m more excited about the future of Strung Out then I was 10 years ago. New album should be raw fire. Cheers

These guys lost their skate punk sound the day jim cherry was kicked outa the band. It was clear they wanted to go in a different direction. Twisted by design was a decent album but it was far from what made strung out popular in the first place. Meanwhile cherry starts zero down in 2001 and they drop their only album which was a throwback to 90s skate punk. Honestly zero down couldve even been better than strung out. Too bad cherry died in '02. Strung outs had this wierd alternative, metal sound since then it kinda sucks...

Yeah pretty much, I want to pass out about now but I was listening to Bad Religion and New Found Glory in 2000 plus T.S.O.L is essentially one of the best punk bands ever (the original T.S.O.L I think it is pretty punk I guess to have to fight to get your name back is too, but yeah).Plus T.S.O.L made their own clothes for some reason. Really gotta look them up. I don't follow trends, I don't dress a certain way. Like I said I want to just pass out now, but yeah punk is a thing from your heart and while a little bit of a look can help it's like how emo got ruined because people felt like they needed a style and look to market it and sell to mall people. My punk look is essentially just a backwards hat and jumping around a lot.

Top five favorite bands of all time i've seen them so many times but I was lucky enough to hang out and meet them all too.  They are the coolest laid back and most  under rated musically talented band that is out there.  Love you guys don't ever stop!
