there is a obscure finnish band called Harlot that also has a very beautiful song called Tears of Ice. They only released a three-song demo, but their music is so incredible it hurts to know that they only had this demo.

My first time hearing this was yesterday as I dug through all the old albums I have missed since the 2003 releases. This tracks is one of those special songs that comes out of nowhere and surpasses your expectations on an album. I am left almost speechless and have listened to this around 10 times already. NOT getting old.

And I know David Glimour is nothing compared to Timo. And robert plant is extremely overrated as a vocalist. The Doors are a completely different type of music, hell all the ones you listed are.

I think Tolkki's voice fits this era's style, and Kotipelto's better suits the latter. Twilight Time and Dreamspace are two of my favorite Stratovarius albums, but I love much of their later stuff too, and think Kotipelto's voice is a great part of it all. I was going to start naming tracks but they're all so good!

And this song definitely reminds me of my first love & heartbreak. Especially "There were times all I did was cry out your name"...

Absolutly wonderful song, takes me back to the first time I had my heart broken...something everyone should experience at least once. It hurts but makes you grow. Just started listening to Stratovarius, and love it.
