Haha i always thought that too, though i cant get into there later stuff. But yeah their first 3 albums are the best. Actually feel the same way about helloween that their first 3 albums are also their best, but the rest couldn't get into.

Early Stratovarius was so awesome! After they went in a more soft direction they were still good, but their first three records (Fright Night, Twilight Time and Dreamspace) are certainly my favorites.

Who else found this song by listening to the dubstep music by "Chasing Shadows"?

At the time this was released in 1994, Stratovarius had a mediocre success...only 3 years later when "Visions" came out they skyrocketed into gold-record status. Still, despite their success with later records somehow this is one of my favourite albums of theirs. Has a really special atmosphere.

@remuaja84 Can Koltipelto Play the Guitar, Sing, Write Music and Produce Music ? I think Not ? If it wasn't for Tolkki I never would have gotten into Stratovarius in the first place. He may no longer be in the Band but I'm a Fan of his No Matter What.

@perpetual61 Tolkki and Kotipelto are equal in the skill of singing, if you would put Tolkki to sing Hunting high and low or Kotipelto to sing Tears of Ice, there would be no match.

Queensryche albums aren't all that great, they have pretty bland songs on their Lps.

i only knew about a bootleg where this maybe will appear, but there's NO live version and no videos of this album. tolkki took out the first albums from the live performances. maybe was 'cause kotipelto wasn't the right voice for those songs.

Tolkki was the man, his voice didn't have that ear piercing screeching sound trying to hit those high notes. He will always be the one whom introduced to Stratovarius.

His singing is also better than Kotipelto's, in my opinion.
The dark themes and great lyrics, together with the skillful compositions and the technical playing, is what makes Dreamspace so epic.

I love the sound of Dreamspace, it has a certain atmosphere that you can't describe but is there, you can feel it. And tolkki's guitar sound is so special, i'm still trying to get that sound out of my guitar lol

I just don't feel the chorus on this song, it feels so... weak?
Otherwise, great song as always!
Dreamspace is definately their best album.
