My husband lost his dad unexpectedly a few days after our son was born and still in the nicu due to heart problems. Worrying about losing my son and lost our dad unexpectedly in the process of it all. Its like he gave his last breath for our son to be here. 😔

my best friend Billy told me to look up this song and I started to cry cause my real dad was never there for me and had lefted when I was a baby and me and him have been talking and we talk about his family and stuff and he don't know his real dad but his dad that has been there for him and he has to move from California to Arkansas and billy's dad stayed in California and he misses him alot

this song reminds me of my grandfather he was always at all my brothers baseball games and everything he never missed one he got really bad and he couldnt come to his games no more but he is no longer with me and my brother on earth but he is with me and him in spirit

Is it strange that I found this because I'm a teacher aide?
My teacher had me sort through magazines that were appropriate for her Interior Design class (like, houses, inside of houses, things like that would be good) and when I got through them all there was a folded piece of paper at the bottom of the box so I unfolded it and it had the quote "Life isn't about the breaths you take but the moments that take your breath away" (and another quote as well as some doodles). I looked for the quote when I got home, found out it was a song, searched the song, and ended up here. Not a huge fan of this genre of music to be honest but the quote it still really inspiring. :3

What about how I sit here in foster care with no mom, dad, grandpa, grandma, or my little sister who got adopted out. You don't know what its like to live without a family, home made dinners, hugs, love, people asking you how your day was, a bike, my own bed,someone to put a bandiad on my cuts, someone to tell goodnight and that I love them too, I have none of that here. Thats the kinda stuff that is in my dreams, I just wanna feel wanted and loved. Be thankful kid, it could be worse.

I know this is a song about a father and son, but I lost my dad when I was 4, and my mom raised 5 kids by herself, and the love we got from her, as she tried to fill the void left by my dad could not be measured, by no means was our life easy or anything but mom was always there, she left us in 2 yrs ago, but this song reminds me of her, love and miss u mom

My father was a great man. He began a boxing career at age 10 and almost went to the olympics at age 20. He then became a Marine in Vietnam and served our red, white and blue :)
For the next 4 decades he worked for the USDA research division until 9-11-01 when he was in the Pentagon. He was pulled safely from the wreckage, but his Marine heart and training kicked in and he ran back to save 7 people from certain death. He died and I heard this song that night. Love you dad. Wanna be like you!!!

this song reminds me of my grandpa. he died from cancer 5-5-12. right after my dad told me about his passing this song can on the radio. RIP grandpa. you are and always will be my hero. i looked up to you my whole life.

stop trying to say that your life is more sad than others, a lot of people have bad lifes. I have had 3 uncles 4 aunts a grandma get diagnosed with cancer an it killed her, a grandpa die and my dad be diagnosed with terminal cancer in the past year and a half, also i haven't had a girlfriend in forever and the one i did had lasted 10 hours after a romantic dance she said yes and dumped me in the morning. i don't want sympathy its just keep your head up, there's always someone that has it worse
