i wanted to see these guys in concert, but alas, i am 5'4" and tiny and am done growing, and my older brother told my mom that he went to a show and it got so wild some guy almost died in the pit. so that's not happening any time soon

I took my 5'4" girlfriend to a TSSF gig, and it was her first proper gig. We got to the barrier and shit got crazy, but she had a great time. She took the occasional boot from a crowdsurfer but it doesn't hurt. Just keep your wits about you and have a good time. The crowd treats each other like family.
Basically: Don't worry, just go and have a good time. If a 17 year old 5'4" petite girl can do it, so can you.

Usually in the rare occasion someone gets hurt they all stop and help each other up. Btw I feel bad for ya. Concerts are fun.

Very clever lyrics, much like most of their work, this is one of my favorite songs, you'd probably have to ask Parker or some of the other band members if you manage to catch them live at a smaller venue sometime, but I can give you my guess as to what the song is about. Here goes lmao. 

So the lyrics "Talk quenches thirst, but does nothing for hunger" in my opinion is a metaphorical or analogical play on mental satisfaction in the songwriters relationship at the time. Metaphorically his partner may have been all talk and quenched his thirst, but did no actions in order to satisfy his hunger. Simply put, talk quenches thirst, whilst actions satisfy hunger, his girlfriend at the time probably didn't express actions towards him, leaving him hungry (unsatisfied with the relationship or emotionally let down). In other words talking is only half of a reletionship or interaction it needs to be accompanied by actions, remember the common saying "Actions speak louder than words". 

It may have been that the relationship took it's toll so much that in the aftermath the songwriter was mentally drained, as proven by the lyrics "I've got nothing in common with anything, anymore", these following lyrics probably lend themselves to a breakup and being kicked out, "I don't have any place to stay but I wouldn't advise the risk, you leave me in the deep end with ankles made of bricks". The final part of the song being "self medicate cause I'm sick, and "make this painless and quick" are probably just comments on the toll the relationship had on the songwriter. 

In short this song is simply about a relationship that went sour and the story or experience is painted terrifically by deep meaningful lyrics much like many tracks by The Story So Far. Honestly the whole deciphering of a songs meaning to me is simply pointless, take from the song what you can relate to or just fucking enjoy it because it sounds rad.  

On a side note the songs name is 'Rally Cap', a Rally Cap is essentially an inside out baseball cap, usually worn by a baseball team to get lucky or win the game when they are far behind. Could be metaphorical for a relationship being far behind in regards to the song, but let's be honest most song titles are chosen on what sounds cool lmao.

@mitcherrmann I've been a blink and NFG fan for years ever since I was a kid, I just started looking into the new age pop punk about a year ago. And yes TSSF is my favorite band now. I don't see how that's such a big deal lol.

@mitcherrmann Blink 182's first 3 albums, Buddha, Cheshire Cat, and Dude Ranch were PUNK ROCK albums. Their next two albums Enema Of The State, and Take Off Your Pants And Jacket were considered POP PUNK. The last album before they broke up (Self Titled) was an Alternative album. And now their newest album (Neighborhoods) is an Alternative album. It's a mix of Angels And Airwaves, +44, and Blink 182.
