Is there a STP album after Purple that doesn't get much acclaim or doesn't seem to get enough praise. Regardless, "4" stands above them all--but I don't think they made a bad one during the Scott years...

+wysoft Personally, I feel the only "true" grunge STP album is Core - not saying that's either a good or bad thing. They definitely got into a more psychedelic rock/Beatles-inspired sound starting with Purple, and Tiny Music is a mix of a lot of stuff.

@Davos Nix I would say that is fair enough.. they cover almost all the bases. I'm not into 100% of STP's stuff but they were fucking good at whatever they did, even if it's not my thing.

Even Core isn't grunge at all.

This song is so cool... and trippy... and mysterious, I love all the guitar layers, sick tremolo... and No, this doesn´t sound like Soungarden, SG doesn't like to experiment like this on the studio... sadly STP won't play this song live because of the song's production... Soundgarden only writes songs they know they are going to be able to play live... 2 great bands by the way

Nice to see that others love this disc as much as I do; while it didn't sell a ton, the songwriting is as good as anything they've done. As nickynice wrote, underrated.

@maynx I've always said that about this song...Everything you said hit it right on the head!...I've never heard it live though. Have you? Def best song on this album and one of my fav STP songs in general.
