Stone Temple Pilots - Naked Sunday Lyrics
You're the fuel to the fire
You're the weapons of war
You're the irony of justice
And the father of law
For the chance to shake your hand
To give you thanks for all the suffering you command
And when all is over and we return to dust
Who will be my judge and which one do I trust
You're the champion of sorrow
You're the love and the pain
You're the fighter of evil
Yet you're one in the same
For the chance to shake your hand
To give you thanks for all the suffering you command
And when all is over and we return to dust
Who will be my judge and which one do I trust?

Favorite STP song (wutup 2019/almost 2020)
Sonic Raiden brought me here.
the rest songs of this album are shit
Drums on pots and pans
Holy bass line :o
You people are deaf.
Dean DeLeo is so underrated. That little solo started off Vernon Reid, but ended kinda Vaughn-ish.
We are never happy with what they already gave us. We always want more. I don’t think Scott ever thought he wouldn’t be here. His demons became greater than his good judgement. Very sad and ongoing story throughout history. I’m SO happy he existed and accomplished what he did. This band rocks it’s ass off. Got to see them in 2009, Scott was healthy and they kicked ass. My neck hurt for days with all the dancing and head banging hahahahaha. God bless and eternally grateful 🙏🏻
One of my favorite songs on this epic album!
Essa é a mais pesada do álbum. Detonação, porrada na orelha
Underated song
The best song from "Core." Says a lot considering the other tracks on the album....
Wow....incredible groove and beat
This track can demolish a 30 inch wall
It destroyed my windows, but from outside, hmm
aaaaaaah whooooooa aaaaaaaaaah yeeeeeeah
no melody to this song
I think your ears are full of ear wax
That was great song oh yeah !
dat bass
gonna name my stp cover band "Naked Sunday" oh hell yea
I don't know if I'm just really stoned or this song is the best group of sounds that has ever traveled through my eardrums
I'm right there with you, man. This is a "go-to" song each night... It thunders, it's funky, it swings, it roars! A delight to the ears on all levels.
A. Raven couldn't have said it better
the best song other than sin
HEY EVERYBODY, WHERE'D MARY GO?
best approximately two chord song ever
The bass and drums make this song when they kick in at 00:28
Rob is a beast
This gives me happiness everytime.
WE WILL SURVIVE
alot of chains in this ,i feel.
i fucking love it.
G-D HOW I WISH SCOTT COULD HAVE FOUND THE STRENGTH TO FIGHT HIS ADDICTION; I BELIEVE THEY WOULD STILL BE TREMENDOUSLY RELEVANT
Late at night, I would play this album including this song when I'm driving.
Aaaaah,oooooh,yeah.
Aline Silva Alves you got the lyrics down right lol
No this piece
Aline SAlves. Yes!
Aline SAlves. True
It's funny but it's also brilliant. It's like a voice riff over the guitar riff.
Stp forever👍🏻
I understand how u.s. fans are sad about Scott's death . but please stop mentioning it
Great song, but the intro scared the crap outta me.
RIP Scott, gone way before his time.
RIP Scott, you are right up there with Dimebag and Wayne Static... I'm jealous :P
Don't forget Layne Staley, Kurt Cobain
Love all three of those guys
cavegoat24 heaven has a killer alt metal supergroup with all them
@jake lay nah, if it's really heaven then they are jumping around labels
RIP Scott. Thank you for your enormous contribution to rock. We will forever be rocking out to your music!
sexy voice,we gonna miss u ♥
now you're shaking that hand Scottietito.. super song this one
rip Scott
ps: they've played this one on SNL and it kicked some major ass
I remember that. Been looking for it. Haven't seen it since it aired originally.
vicchopin its on youtube now
Why Scott.. many sad
Sad Scott Weiland couldnt fight those demons any longer and unfortunate how things had to end for him. Addiction is a tough thing to overcome. He was one of the greatest song writers of the 90s, hands down.
''I like your hat''
Ill drink to that!
rip scott
A powerful and rare song! It makes me feel like dancing when I hear this song.
My favorite of this band...
My favorite song on the album, so intense.
Yeah me three. Loved it when he sang through one of those megaphones or whatever they're called
bullhorn
sparkedindignation777 every song on this album has been my favorite song at one point in my life, but this one is special.
@Dane Ison
because the rest songs of this album are shit lol
A great collection of songs that show their depth of artistic genius. Thank You very much, I put it on my playlist.
on the 13th day god created STP
God created light, and he thought it was good. Scott Weiland thought it was okay.
Who will be my judge and which one do I trust??? :D :D :D Scott thx for these epic song!!! (with the others 60....) +500lks!!
This is one serious fucking tune...!!
Core is a great album, and this song is among the best on Core.
Geoff Edwards agree
Man that song is awesome! I used to have this album on tape back in the day!
they are singing about god?
More about organized religion
Second! That's because they ARE the greatest band in the world.
Hehe the ONE TIME I type in both "agnostic/atheist". Why did I do that? (LOL - sorry). :)
No - I'm agnostic. I can't commit to anything yet. That goes for both sides. Thanks for replying. :)
Holy shit. I've loved this song for years but I never understood the lyrics. Now, being an agnostic/atheist, I get it. Awesome!
them bones!
no its not
stp's 'Core' kinda reminds me of the smashing pumpkin's 'Gish'... it was early in their fame, yet it was somehow rawer than what followed, but just plain awesome.
Lots of great songs by this band but I think this is my fave
I liked the beat to this song. But the singing is a bit annoying. Its a cheap knock off of AIC.
But STP are a great band.
Probably my favorite STP song right here! Man I got chills the first time I heard it and still do everytime it bends my ear.
Very underrated album
THIS SONG ROCKS STONE TEMPLE PILOTS FTW!!! ^o^
one of my favorite songs ever, love his vocals in this.
This album isn't so great.
