One single good thing has come of The Nostalgia Critic's video on "The Wall": before I watched that abomination and lived the ending of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" Corey Taylor was one of those people I was more aware of than actually familiar with. I'd probably heard Slipknot songs on the radio or someplace but wouldn't have been able to actually name a single song of his if asked to. We all have people we can say that about. You know? And I was curious what this celebrity singer who'd been roped into literally just sitting there and taking up space while Doug Walker very poorly sang a 40-minute album by himself was like. The result is that I'm now having the pleasure of discovering Stone Sour. The more of this band I listen to the more I like it--and good heavens can that man sing! WHAT KIND OF MONSTER MAKES HIM JUST SIT IN A CHAIR FOR THE LENGTH OF A WHOLE ALBUM, EVEN AS A JOKE?! Anyway, for all the compliments people justly pay him in these comments sections I think the rest of these people in Stone Sour deserve a hand too. I don't see a weak link anywhere.

Somebody help me out here. I’m looking for a song and the melody is eerily similar to the chorus of the song. I was flipping through the stations and pretty much caught the chorus and the Outro. It’s definitely some top 40 hard rock or metal band. And I’d say would be fairly current within the last five or six years maybe. Again the vocal pattern and melody is nearly identical to this song.
