I'm sitting here crying. I've been trying to figure out why... At first I thought it might be because this is a local boy. It's deeper than that though. I got out of the music scene years ago because the soul of music in washington state was dead. The innovators and the ones who would be great, truly great... were all gone. Then all of the sudden I find this guy... I start crying and I know why... this fella right here has proven that the soul, the heartbeat of music isn't dead in my home state. There are still those that would strive to be more than a no-heart top 40 pop singer. This guy has tone, he has vibrato, he has volume and depth... I am so wildly impressed by this guy and I had no idea he was around. I am rejoining the music world now to see if there is more. Allen Stone has given me hope after so long of having lost it.
