Sting - Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic Lyrics
Though I've tried before to tell her
Of the feelings I have for her in my heart
Every time that I come near her
I just lose my nerve as I've done from the start
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
Do I have to tell the story
Of a thousand rainy days since we first met
It's a big enough umbrella
But it's always me that ends up getting wet
Every little thing she does is magic
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
I resolved to call her up
A thousand times a day
And ask her if she'll marry me
In some old fashioned way
But my silent fears have gripped me
Long before I reach the phone
Long before my tongue has tripped me
Must I always be alone?
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on
Every little thing she does is magic
Everything she do just turns me on
Even though my life before was tragic
Now I know my love for her goes on...
Every little thing...
Every little thing she does...
Every little thing she does is magic...

l was born a Gen X'er. l was/am into PROG/Jazz fusion! But THIS era, and THIS band, and THIS music ......was _FLIPPIN'_ FANTASTIC!!! Out of ALL the ''punk'' groups ....and l love 'em ....THESE DUDES were SUCH great musicians! l almost think they were kinda faking being ''punk''! They were just TOO GOOD!! All three of 'em! TOO GOOD!!!! xD
What is it about the eighties that everything just had that great sound
Even the stuff with tons of synth and keyboards felt warm and human
Probably still of my happy feel good songs in 2019
Who came because of the office ?lol
I’m listening 👂🏻
The last 2 minutes or so of this song are legendary
1:58 It is the greatest song, but what about Andy’s face?
The police Sounds even classier now than they did back in the 80s .
I saw them in 82 and 83 in Toronto. I caught Copeland's drum stick but it flew out of my hand. He was watching the English Beat play in 82 from stage right. Mind blowing shows. I was 15 and 16.
SUCH AN INCREDIBLE SONG..........RAISES THE HAIR ON MY ARM
I get goosebumps when i hear this everytime.
My aunty loved the police she was a big fan of there's she even saw them on top of the pops thumbs up if you like it
Gonna play this on our wedding, just looking for a bride ,any girl up for it ?
I'm listening this beautiful song in December 25, 2019
We don't have great music like this anymore.
Mark McLaughlan I guess it depends what you like. They dint have great music like ours in their time period lol
I could not get enough of this song when it came out when I was 11. I thought Sting was a total fox.
1980:The Best
2000 :Still The Best
2019 :Rock Hall Of Fame
3000 :Fan Forever 🎸😎, Forever
1980 what??????????? here in 2020 :-D
👏 ALL 3 👏👏 ARE FIRE 🔥and my love for them is insane. There is NO POLICE if you remove ONE of them! Stop shitting on Sting!! He wrote that damn classics including some of the guitar arrangement. Singing his ass off while playing fretless. Steward started the band but Sting felt that he wanted to go further with his music. Plus they were all burned out after non-stop touring for 5 damn years!! You can't fault him for that. I love The Police the most but Sting is also one of our greatest songwriters. It hurts that Sting quit but it hurts because you love the music. Be glad that we have the music and YT.
"I resolve to call her up thousand times a day,
And ask her if she'll marry me,
Some old fashion way"
Sweetest line I've heard...
One of the greatest bands ever
I see it's finally in the correct speed. I'm guessing it's a new master from the original camera negative.
I was 17 when this song cane out it was a time and place like no other.
The intro is just pure magic
Then we could feel the instruments now we only can feel music
I dedicate this song to what once was THE coolest place on earth to make a record. AIR Studios, Montserrat. That now is sadly becoming a brown stain on the landscape. This song will forever remember the people of the island, George Martin and all of the magic that was made:)
The police were brilliant in the 20th century. Later in the 21st century smart phone zombie period up to 2030 it will be non communication. Sad really that the human race stop talking face to face. So sad. But brilliant song and lyrics.
TYPICAL SONG FROM THE COLD WAR ERA
SO GLAD I GREW UP IN THE MARVELOUS 80’S... OH OUI !
WHAT A GREAT ERA! I’M GLAD THAT I LIVED THROUGH IT. OH OUI !
I love this song so much and I can really relate. I love my girl more than anything in the world and every little thing she does is truly magic, everything she does really does turn me on. She's so beautiful and perfect. Can't wait to be with her from the 26th of December to 5th of January. I'm gonna treat her like the princess she is. I really wanna be with her.
Awwww I love you💗
@Tia Farrow 😘
It's a big enough umbrella, but it's always me who ends up getting wet. That line drives me crazy.
Es de mis canciones preferidas de The Police, que gran tema.
Just got into The Police, what a band. I wasn’t born in the 80s at all, but you can see how much music has downgraded. This is literally magic.
The lovely Africans must have been like what IS HAPPENING AROUND HERE
They're in Montserrat. The studio was destroyed in a Hurrican.
I get through school by playing playing this song in my head :)
The melody of the first and second verses reminds me of black and white movie of the 1930’s to the 60’s.
It's just tragic that music like this is no longer written and produced.. I just never get the goosebumps, the rising heckles, the flood of adrenaline or need to sing at the top of my voice in my car, from any of the modern stuff... And it certainly doesnt have the sound that music had. The grainy rawness before mike dolby got involved, was special. Real. I believed the story that was being told to me. I was, and still am entitrely seduced by it. Apart from a small few, there are no magic men in music any more.
4:20
This song is 4 minutes and 20 seconds long. NOICE
YES 😃😎
👏👏👏👌
grandma at the end of the video :D <3
Was Sting classically trained? He's playing the cello in this video and in "Every Breath You Take"
It’s a bass and he plays it with an electric bass live, so I doubt he’s playing this with an upright

Magic🎼🎶🎵💖
Sting + SUPERCOOL. LOVE The Police. Such timeless music from the greatest decade EVER. I have said it so many times; I was blessed to have the childhood and early teen years during the 80s.
You know you're a drummer when you wait for the break at 02:57
good thing these tweakers weren't allowed near the mixing boards.
Very original compared today's music.
Who's here after Wonderful World of Disney Holiday Special
Dio...Dio...Dio! Evviva i POLICE! Energia pura. :-) E il mitico Sting continua a regalarci il suo talento .
How true this is! Sweet ladie!
the 80s are just perfect
The best song of Police
Conspiracy Theory brought me here.
I feel SHREK vibz...
Mis tres rubios favoritos 👏♥️
Nice song,shame about the video...
Best part of the video is them not allowing the drummer to touch the mixing board.
3.6 K Neil Peart fans clicked on this by accident.
Fabulous song that still has that ability to put to shame all the endless shit music we have to suffer today...
Still absolutely amazing, and uplifting.
3614 de amargados no saben lo que es escuchar excelente música
02/12/2019 💕 #Brazil 🇧🇷
Every time I hear those first few notes of this song, I am transported back to an eleven year old child back in 1981, the greatest decade. Dadgum I miss the 80s and the wonderful music such as the Police more and more each day.
The 3.6 people has not a little bit of magic
The 1980s are really good

1:57 Andy Summer face is genius:)
2019
What Johnny Marr is to the Smiths is what Andy Summers is to the Police.
That distinct electric guitar sound is so engaging. Agree/disagree? Peace.
Adoroooo!!!!
Man, when this video started, it took m,e right back to the 80's....kind od eerie

_The magic happens at __2:57__._
What happened to the original version of this song that was with the music video?
Damm music was so good then. Wtf happen. I rocked the police. Their songs had meaning and a hypnotic vibe to them
anyone know the camera / film type used to record this?
I remember when this would come on MTV and I would instantly transport to the Bahamas or Jamaica with the Police to have a big ole dance party right in my living room. Ahh it was fun to be 14.
It is a sorta perfect song...
Deaf people must be getting depressed if they read these comments
How sick of you to make them feel bad for something they can't help
