Stewart, Rod - Stardust Lyrics
And now the purple dusk of twilight time
Steals across the meadow of my heart
High up in the sky the little stars climb
Always reminding me that we're apart
Leaving me a song that will not die
Love is now a stardust of yesterday
The music of the years gone by
Sometimes I wonder why I spend
The lonely nights dreaming of a song
The melody haunts my reverie
And I am once again with you
When our love was new
But that was long ago
And now my consolation
Is in the stardust of a song
Beside the garden wall
When stars are bright
You are in my arms
The nightingale tells his fairy tale
Of paradise where roses grew
Though I dream in vain
In my heart it will remain
My stardust melody
The memory of love's refrain

la forma de tocar la trompeta,me parece que es arturo sandoval
my husband loved his music
Sorry Rod Fans, but I Like the version that Ringo Starr released in 1970 on his "Sentimental Journey" album. Could be worse, how many people can sing "Begin the Beguine".
I've heard better, Hoagie Carmichael, Nat King Cole, and Tony Bennett. But, I can't see very many singers from the past 30 or 40 years try this sort of music. I'm just glad he turned his hand to this and not what is passed off as music today. Cudo's Rod, keep going, this music has passed the test of time, so will you!
if nat king cole heres this, hell turn in his grave.
Because it's horrible. He has no range for this. You can tell the studio is hiding his total lack of voice. Hey, I give Rod Kudos for trying this classy material, but Rod has no voice for this, he is either singing falsetto or flat as a pancake. A 10 for class, a 2 for quality. This simply is not his material. Hot Legs, yes, this...not a chance.
Well, DON'T LISTEN TO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
prawdopodobnie najlepsze wykonanie tej ślicznej piosenki - idealnie się ślucha...
Polecam też wykonanie Nat King Cole’a. Naprawdę świetna wersja.
