Stevie Nicks - Some Become Strangers Lyrics

In the beginning I believed in love and things
It happened like a hurricane
I could never really tell you what this did to me
I could never make it better for you
Anyway

Thing is
Time was
Part of me used to love you
Part of me still does
This light here
Some become strangers

Did it have to be so easy to live without it
I was hoping to remember you with just a smile
Now the memory of giving you is giving out
Well, I could say that I knew it all the while

Thing is
Time was
Part of me used to love you
Part of me still does
This light here
Some become strangers

Didn't want to be the one to
Say goodbye
In a stranger's eyes
Look how we've changed

I don't really need this in my life
Why don't we forget about it

Thing is
Time was
Part of me used to love you
Part of me still does
This light here
Some become strangers
Let your soul become a stranger

Baby, you're no stranger
You're no stranger
Not that I am
Well, you've become that stranger
And let your soul become a stranger
Well, you're no stranger... not that I am
So you do it... I think that you should do it
Well you do it

  1. F.... N....

She is the best of the best

  2. j.... m....

    so powerful WOW

  3. B.... F....

Can’t believe she had a cool R&B style song!

  4. X.... H....

The most Fleetwood Mac-ish song on rock a little. If they did an album between Mirage and Tango I could see this being on it

  5. L.... M....

Went to this tour. Changed my life.

  6. S.... G....

FM and Stevie created unique sounds (and guitar rhythms) that seem impossible today. Gorgeous sound.

  7. N.... W....

Lol. Ive always heard people say Stevies vocals were never the same as in the 70s. I think she sounds better here than ever before! Love her vocals on RAL.

I love a lot of her later stuff. Her voice is even stronger to me now.

    N.... W....

    totally agree

This album is so fun and upbeat, with a low key 80's vibe. My dad played it endlessly, when I was a kids.

  9. A.... P....

Incredible and dazzlingly proficient synth bass line - played by the talented Greg Phillinganes if I understand correctly

Atro Pex oh that's good to be able to appreciate the best kind of Artistry As Stevie puts it out

  10. S.... J....

After a full listen I'm starting yo reconsider Rock A little's place amongst Stevie's best work. I know this is a little past her prime vocally but the material is so strong. Country, R & B, folk. I thoroughly enjoyed it

  11. M.... M....

The legend Michael Landau on luscious clean guitar with the chorus and delay swirling :)
