i am half filipino and i like stevie hoang, he is a good singer, but it's not like it's that special, i like his music, but for some of us, like charice pempengco etc..., their something special so we feel proud, i admire her alot, i am also half american german,from Ny, but more filipino, point being is for me charice or anyone with a strong voice~celine dion, mariah~ ,whitney, jessica sanchez, charice ofcourse~their special~different~

this is the most awkward music video I've ever seen. I've listened to his music for years now and this is the first time that I've ever seen any of his "music videos" but my opinion is he should just stick to the singing and not so much the dancing or anything visually for that matter. He seems forced, from the way his mouth moves to the words to the stiff movements. And his back-up dancers are just as bad. I'd much rather here the music without seeing it from him.

He's really chinese/british. His parents are Chinese that came from Vietnam. However this does not conclude that he is Vietnamese. His parents later moved to England.

@00kunkun He is wrong. HOANG is not a Chinese name, Chinese people would write it as HUANG, Wang, or Wong. HOANG is specifically from the Vietnamese alphabet.

Let's be real here, his ethnicity does matter. If he was Korean, the comments section would be flood with "Korean pride" comments or how good of a singer he is because he's Korean or how he should do K-pop too. If he was Filipino, there would be "FILIPINO PRIDE". The truth is, there aren't many Viet singers that are popular with non-Viets so having one means something. Unfortunately, Stevie Hoang is not Viet. Asians are really prideful people especially about their heritage. It matters.
