This came out when my parents first married and started their own great adventure with God, now they are moving back to where God first led them (like returning from exile), and my dad started singing this song again. Couldn’t help but play it for them.

A friend of mine, Ronnie, knowing I was huge SCC fan invited me to come to Nashville and spend a few days with him. Just happened that he was the recording and mix engineer on this album. I got to hang out while he mixed several songs from this project and go to help do some background vocals on "Got 2 B Tru." SCC was so nice and easy to talk to. So glad I got that experience. Was a blast. It pushed me into a career in audio engineering, that I still do today. Thank you Ronnie.

I remember when this was like the only album I would listen to all the time because I wasn’t allowed to listen to any secular music. My mom would go through my room when I wasn’t home and throw away all the secular cds I had bought with my hard earned money that I got from my part time job so all I had left was this and a DC Talk album to listen to. Awesome parenting mom!

At my Messianic congregation this past Saturday, we blessed and released Carl and Glenda who were no longer able to make the long drive into the mountains west of Denver because of health challenges. We were so sad to see them go; Carl had been on the worship team (in his 70s!) and was an elder, in cowboy boots and leather vest under his prayer shawl/tallit. After we prayed over them and as they were getting ready to pack up and out, Terry called out from the sound booth, "We have a video!" and ran this one. Even now I'm crying happy tears as I remember Carl taking Glenda into his arms and they swing-danced to this song, and on that note, they rode off into the sunset. I love this congregation!
