Steve Miller Band, The - Never Kill Another Man Lyrics

When the wind blows you home
To the shores of home
Will you be one of those
Who killed another man

When the wind blows you home
To the shores of home
Will you be one
Who killed another man
Killed another man
Killed another man
Killed another man

If I can make it through this life
If I can make it through this life
If I can make it
If I can make it
I'll never kill another man
As my time rolls out
As my time rolls out
If I can make it
If I can make it
I'll never kill another man with these hands
Never kill another man

I'm a Japanese man live in Japan.
Barack Obama visited Hiroshima yesterday, and I’m listening this tune today.
I would rather be killed, If I have to kill somebody.
"LOVE" for all people in this planet. Thank you.

I agree with the sentiment of LOVE for everybody. Not sure where you're coming from with your reference to Hiroshima. We all know murder is horrible. It's a pity your ancestors didn't feel even remotely that way when they murdered tens if not hundreds of thousands of innocent men women and children throughout southeast Asia and the island nations. It's a new Japan since, and as our allies, I wish for nothing but the best for you and your country, but whitewashing Japan's part in starting WWII and the atrocities committed by the Japanese therein cannot be forgotten. Attempting to make The U.S. villains for Hiroshima and Nagasaki is absurd. Japan was not the victim.

    That's Nicky Hopkins on piano.

If you have had a person you loved murdered (as I have),you know the resounding truth in this music.
