Here's something to think about:
What if, humans had over come aging, had overcome the boundaries of interstellar expansion, and had cheap ways to terraform planets, what would happen? What would happen if we had expanded throughout the known universe and expanded with it, and have discovered everything there is to be known. Will it be peaceful? Will it be violent? Will it be exciting? Will it be dull? There'd seem to be no purpose, for after all the human race owns the universe, advanced technology to its limit, beat aging, and its population grows faster than the universe expands. To me it would be very bleak. And right now, we stand at a tipping point in our future. One that our choices right now, will lead to how our universe is in the next 1000 years. What we do now, can change everything. Even small things can change something. So if I could I'd caution scientists now more than ever, the fate of everybody can be considered to be in their hands.
