What really annoys me is that Lee is a good-looking guy with an amazing body but they seriously didn't know how to dress him. This outfit and the one in Say You'll Be Mine it's like the stylist was like, "a sleeveless shirt! we're good" and didn't look at anything else. Honestly the best he ever looked was in Last Thing On My Mind (and that was besides the Speedos(TM)!)

I loved Steps, but this was their weakest song imo...

Truth. I know that H was sticking their manager, but why did the label solo him over Lee when it came to male leads? Like, H is rather terrible compared to Lee. Not tone-deaf or anything, but, not that good...

H has a better voice than Lee. H does have a natural vibrato and has quite a good range for a guy, and does do falsetto too. Lee was never really given an opportunity to show what he could do, but he does have a weaker, smaller voice.

Agreed, and possibly his voice is even less than average. Interesting to speculate how much further good management could have taken them.

I didn't understand why claire, Lisa and Faye didn't go off and make a girl group an drop the guys, would have been better than H & Claire.

+Karlitorobins619 Cos obviously there was an issue between Claire and Faye at the time which caused the Steps breakup to begin with. It wouldn't make sense for Faye to fight with Claire and cause the breakup and those two forming another group. Obviously H was on Claire's side in terms of the issue so they formed that duo.

I agree drop the guys, but any girl combination that included Claire would have the same problems with the same result. She was never alright with being part of a group until their label dropped she and H. Her ego wouldn't allow for being anything other than a diva wannabe. That being said, she does have a bazooka of a voice.

Back in time i couldn't understand why H was so highlighted, I always thought he was the less talented of the band and his voice is not even nice...well we know what he did to get all the advantages, so shallow...Though i love the chorus of this song so much, pity the song was not better distributed among the five.

This would've been so much better without H's distinctly average lead vocal. Little did we know he was being pushed forward by the manager he was blowing behind the scenes. I think the overestimation of his talent and deluded sense of his star power ruined this group.

Exactly right Tom. Ok looks and less than average vocals are not a good combination. I can't believe anyone would have actually spent money on the idea to begin with. Claire has always been a diva wannabe and would have been much better to have been left on her own from day one in spite of her howitzer of a voice.

The way I see it, is that M'lady Lisa Scott-Lee was always a fashion oriented type of girl/lady whom knew what worked for her physique and tailored(More like manipulated) the clothes to match her, like Faye Tozer Smith, Lisa just knew how to get the best out of fashion and how they work with her...or maybe I'm just talking crap and Lisa had a fashion expert telling her what to wear, which she really doesn't need because she's just (Kisses fingers) Perfection in small form factor wholesome foxy goodness(Bare in mind that she's an absolute Fox/Vixen)
