Stephen Stills - Myth Of Sisyphus Lyrics
Are you leavin'
Bein' alone
Always made you so sad
I got memories of the city
Followin' me everywhere I go
Are you mad with heartache
Got a country home
And you a Parisienne
Gonna take all your sorrows
Right along with you when I'm gone
And I got to go away
Only need a couple of days
I got one more chance to sing it
And I ain't gon' waste my time
Is on the line
Are you troubled
Feelin' bad
And no one seems to care
Got the myth of Sisyphus

Stephen Stills Myth Of Sisyphus Comments
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Myth_of_Sisyphus
For Véronique Sanson, of course...
This is a song to his famous French ex-wife Veronique Sanson who is all over youtube. She is so beautiful and talented. My recall is she left their Colorado home to return home to live. Also read about the Myth of Sisyphus who was condemned for his sins to roll at stone to the top of a mountain for it to only roll back down again as he neared the summit.
Vamos curtir...!!! Excelente música que faz parte da vida de alguns...!!!
Uma das melhores de Stephen Stills...!!!
Without a doubt a wonderful piece....
Masterful, powerful and tasteful. There is something so masculine about his voice that I find really beautiful. The quiet, patient arrangement is perfection. I agree: it does make your hair stand on end.
Lisa, Now that you are under his spell..., read about his wife Veronique Sanson in Wikipedia...., She's is a huge star in France who moved to Colorado to live her life with Stephen. Only to later to miss her life in France and return.... hence this song. The Myth of Sysyphus is a story of a Greek mythology figure condemned to the meaningless task of rolling a stone to the top of a mountain only to see it roll down again. Following Stephen's life is like pulling a thread on a sweater.., you can't stop. Veronique's parents met as operatives in the French Resistance during WW2. Her father sent the first coded message to the French government that the Germans were planning an invasion to France from Belgium. Her mother bombed a German train, captured and later escaped. Veronique lived a very privileged life and attended private schools. Her father began teaching her piano at the age of 4 or 5 and later her mother gave her a guitar. I never wanted to understand the language until watching her interviews... enjoy. Oh and their son Christopher..., hansom as a man can be can carries himself like a monarch.
Makes your hair stand on end, great vocals from Steve, great backing singers totally brilliant keyboard/piano just beautiful.
