The Jon (Jon) is literally the embodiment of weird. He doesn’t really have to try. It doesn’t really matter which version you listen to.

I realized something. Maybe SPG erased most of The Jon from the lore because of Jonathan's own good. Maybe he wanted to live a different life after the band let him go. The more I consider this, I respect it. After all, they are all friends to this day. I wonder what he's up to, yet I have a feeling he's happy. That's what matters. I purchased the digital tickets for the 10th anniversary show, and I'm so glad he's going to be there. Whatever he's doing, I wish him the best. :)

Honestly, it would be a bit creepy for the band to continue using John's likeness to tell their own stories without his input, so it only made sense to cut him out. The comic wasn't around at that time, else that would've given them an opportunity to "retire" the character in a satisfying way.

They swept through the lore because of their experience when Upgrade left; fans and venues were confused about the whole thing and constantly explaining the situation is exhausting.

I haven't seen Jon in like 4 years, he used to come into the coffee shop I work at, but last I saw of him he was happy and focusing on his own art.

i think this song might be about drugs, the crazed lyrics, the sudden agression at some of the endings, the overall tone.

It’s the crazies. Jon’s never done drugs (or really been interested in the topic) as far as I’m aware. There be crazy weird people in this world and I’m one of them, though not quite as crazy as Jon. 😂 As static said, it’s really just spouting things off the top of his head that rhyme.

Ok so, I was reading the biography for Zero, and it said “He skyrocketed into popularity until in 2012, he left the band for a solo career under a competing label. The Walter family lost the rights to Zero’s likeness and voice and he had to be edited out of all previous material”

The Jon left in 2012. It says that Zero had to be edited out of all material that he was in. If this is true, then that wold mean that The Jon isn’t even real and that he was just edited in to cover up Zero.

Actually to me, This song reminds me of Hylics, since Wayne is lost in this weird clay world. Fighting cone cultists and such, and i always get lost within the music, and The lyrics are nonsense to me, just like the game itself. I would hate to be that person too Inky.

I pronounce them [j] (Like the consonant version of Y), while it should be pronounced [dʒ] (English J). Or actually, since I am trying to pronounce them as the English J, it usually becomes something like [dj].

this song always confuses me because the "real" (album) version is SO different from the live album or from other live videos like from the zoo. it's not just the tempo it also just almost sounds like something is missing from this version
