Saw Quo many many times in my Youth and could just about manage loosing JC as Pete Kircher looked and played the part well, but when Alan Lancaster was ousted that was the end of the road for me and the end of the the real Quo sound as far as I was concerned, what is all the plinky plinky crap that followed??. This one of my favourite tracks, thanks Original Quo and RIP Rick you were and will remain a Legend and one of the greatest Rythm Guitarist ever in my Book.

It's all because of the type of person that ROSSI really is.
Rossi is very lucky that Alan didn't do him physical harm.
Lancaster said' Don't come within arms reach of me" during the acrimonious split from the band.
Alan said that losing QUO was "Like having a child abducted"
If Rossi wanted to do 'crap' songs with Bernie then they should've done them in a 'side project' and tarnished the good name of QUO.
Margeurita Time is one of the most horrible songs I've ever heard by any artist.
It's repulsive and disgusting and embarrassing.

It's a bit Spinal Tap listening back after 40+ years, but I loved this when it - & I - was young.

Don't worry, you didn't miss it. They *never* played the full song live. This is one of very few songs that they never played live because it was too hard to get all the complex middle parts right every time.

Another fun fact: although the solo to "Break the Rules" doesn't sound particularly complex, it's deceptive. So much so that the song was another that Quo could never play live in full because Rossi couldn't do the solo consistently. They have played it live on its own on rare occasions but you'll notice that Rossi never does the guitar solo during the instrumental break; they just jump straight to the keys section.

Francis disliked this album because it was largely down to Rick and Nuff, Rick told me that himself one boozy night, Musically Rick and Francis were poles apart and that went on to the end.
