Stabilo - Ordinary Lyrics

How to tell, a friend that you've fallen in love
watching her sing on the bow of a boat
How to move, the muscles to open your mouth
To admit to what she's been afraid of

I'm sorry, I know I'm only ordinary, I'm not a star
I apologize, I know this is an unpleasant surprise
You need a star

Can they tell when nobody says a sound
When I'm lying, when I'm shaking
Right beside
A prophet who made up his mind
To keep quiet
Stay silent

I'm sorry, I know I'm only ordinary, I'm not a star
I apologize, I know this is an unpleasant surprise
You need a star

And to love, not to be loved, is the key
And to see, not to be seen, that is me
And to move, not to be moved, is to be free
And to love, not to be loved is the key

And to love (and to love), not to be loved (not to be loved), is the key
And to see (and to see), not to be seen (not to be seen), that is me (that is me)
And to move (and to move), not to be moved (not to be moved), is to be free (is to be free)
And to love (and to love), not to be loved (not to be loved, is the key)

@daxter8792 Yeah, I've burned it so many times for friends that I've considered buying the actual album. Now I find out it's missing a track. Sucks!

@patrickdickesonsmith Funnily enough, I was making fun of my friend the first time I heard them. It was some crappy cartoon someone on youtube made my friend thought was awesome, I made fun of them but then started looking up the song because it was the only thing about the vid that was good.

daxter8792 I think I might've seen the same cartoon. Was the song in it flawed design?

@daxter8792 It's good to hear an American truly appreciate some of the goods that come out of Canada without any prejudice or unwarranted hatred. I find alot of the time, Americans don't like Canadians based on some misguided principle, and vice versa.

@felicita29 They aren't promoted anywhere but Canada at the moment. I only learned of them by accident from a youtube vid and looked into them. I'm an American fan. I had to send off for their music. I own all their CDs except Kitchen Sessions which was their first cd which I think only sold 500 because them and their friends burned the cds themselves.
